Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal wrote:If I take part in recording another Gn'R album I will compose anyway.
I noticed this part the most. If there's a second album in play, it's just stock studio tracks from Bucket's day.
So that now kills a second album on the way.
No tour
No more studio material
No reunionG n' F' n' R's 2009!
What else would it be and why does that mean no second album? Ron added his parts to all those songs in 2007.
You should be glad, it means Buckethead will still be the main force on the next album.

all i've read of tolkien is LOTR and Hobbit...i never knew where to begin with other stuff...but the fantasy genre is my baby, got a soft spot for it...you should check out Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series...its the one i was speaking of above its fucking fantastic like i said its on book 12 comes out in november and there hasnt been a descrepancy to speak of in 20 years spanning the entire series, quite an amazing feat, and the story is captivating
....in any case when i was a kid i had read the hobbit about 5 or 6 times by the time i got to grade 9, so when we did the hobbit as required reading in grade 9 i moved up to LOTR and read it in the same time frame as the rest of the kids read the hobbit...i still managed to be the foremost question answerer for the hobbit questions as well
... yup thats me
I never got it in school, I first read the Hobbit when I was 16, then started on LOTR. I loved the Appendices because it gave you some back story, the I discovered there was other books with the "history". Unfinished Tales is good, It has a chapter Tolkien wrote about what happened when Gandalf first met the dwarves and arranged for them to go to Bilbos house, which was the opening of The Hobbit. Del Toro has delved into Unfinished Tales and The Silmarillian for The Hobbit movie.
I'll definently check out the Wheel of Time series!
Have you ever heard of a British author Terry Pratchett? He has got a series of satirical/comedy fantasy novels set on the Discworld. They are pretty popular over here, some are better than others but overall they are fantastic!

You know I'm a Tolkien geek, but I dont delve to much into the message boards incase it spoils my enjoyment. More because, apart from Tolkiens explicit and recorded explanations of what things mean and symbolise, the rest is my own personal perception as the reader. I dont really need anything else fullfil my enjoyment.
The fact that there is such a vast reserve of literature out there from Tolkien himself helps lol, no need for any fucking "insiders" there

Empire Magazine has lots of PG's in its top 100 of all time:

My 2 nominations were PG's, one went out straight away, and I think my other will be whitewashed when it comes up

Brains, Modern Drummer, interview was my favourite. I particuarly pay attention to the different drumming styles on each song now. "Sorry" doesnt have much going on at all, I was watching a Brain tutorial and he said he finds songs like that really difficult because he wants to add shit. He used Billie Jean" as an example of a basic beat that would be ruined if you just didnt hold that constant groove because its all the song needs.

James I'm talking about all the boards in general, I read em all nearly, I'm not bashing this place.
And your right, this place is not as bad as the others for "negativity" and it doesnt deserve to take those jabs.
I dont even know what the fuck kool aid is, thats some American slang or something. Nor have I ever hear GN'R in clubs, here you get house, techno etc played in clubs. And I dont know anyone who bought the last U2 album, I havnt heard a note of it anywhere - but I'm assuming someone bought it and someone enjoys it.
