Sorry if I missed the point 20 threads ago, but did anyone find out what Rons 'timekeeping' dig was about in that video? Was it as plain as day and at Axl or what?
well, Ron's guitar was low in the mix.. he tapped his watch and then the guitar became louder.. so i thought it was a gesture at the soundboard operator.

yeah but u are dealing too much with black or white.. sometimes i like the new band, sometimes i don't. listened to CD the other day while i worked out and thought it was pretty mediocre whereas when it first cameout i liked it.. my taste change quickly.
no idea why i have never been banned.... i can't explain it. i even challenged a mod to a vote off.. loser leaves HTGTH... ive have -10 karma.... I've been Pro Slash from the beginning..
it isn't a simple thing... i am a diehard Axl fan... so its hard for me to "HATE" something he does... but i go through ebbs and flows of being a fan and not being a fan.
I have always championed a reunion.. so u can't really go there.
when CD Came out and everyone was drooling, did i not start a "The Guitars suck on this album thread?"
i try to see both sides of things... i may tell u why i hate the new band... but i can also tell u some qualities i like about the new band. its gray... not everything is one way or the other.

So let me get this straight, in ur world, nobody is allowed to change their mind?
I was a fan of the new band but the more i heard and the more shit happened, my taste slowly turned to indifference. I am willing to give them as many chances as it takes to win me over because I AM A GNR and Axl fan. So I want to like them and I want to be a fan.... They make it very tough,however, and as of today, I am fed up with it and no longer a fan of this GNR.
My mind can still change later down the road though. Im not one of these stubborn folks that feels once u believe a certain way, u can never be swayed or change ur mind.
Of course I post different here.. its called being allowed to post ur opinions without censorship. amazing how different posts look when u dont get deleted.
dont give me the HTGTH Shit. anyone who posted there with me knows I challenged the fuck out of the mods and always posted what I Felt. last couple times i did, posts got deleted, so i no longer even fuck with GNR section there.

well, I mean giving GNR benefit of the doubt, why not come onstage and explain the technical difficulty? Fans would've been understanding i am sure.

I think Slash is against a reunion more than Axl cause Slash won't be an employee.

I remember 6-7 years ago making posts why this band WAS GNR and why Axl had every right to keep the name. I REmember telling people how Axl didn't need the old guys... i can show u posts where i said i was happy we had VR and GNR....
but years later.... i've changed my tune... this shit is beyond ridiculous and i have very little interest in this band now.
so thats why i say reunion or bust.. im not a new GNR hater.. i just have had it.

I guess the difference for me is, I have loved AFD,Lies,UYI's for over 20 years whereas with CD, i loved it for about 6 months and now every once in awhile wil listen to may 3 or 4 songs.... in 20 more years ill still be listening to AFD and UYI..
