I guarantee he'd have gave up his left nut to record the TIL solo. I would not be surprised if one of the three songs Axl wanted Slash to contribute to was TIL. Had Finck not lobbied for its inclusion, it'd probably still be in the vault waiting for Slash's key ingredient.
Honestly I wish it had stayed in the vault. I can see why Axl had to be talked into putting it on there. I like Finck's work on CD songs but NOT that damn solo.
Isn't it possible there is a version of TIL recorded sometime between 93-96 already with a Slash solo?? It's an old song.

I need to give Dystopia a listen. So strange that you can sell less than 50k and crack the top 3. No one buys music anymore, its all spoitify, pandora, etc.. stream whatever you want, why buy it I guess.

Metallica deserves to be the fucking half time show. The average football fan is probably a male in the 30-50 year range and almost everyone in that age range probably at least likes a Metallica song.
You can't really get bigger than them out of all the rock bands that are still together and around playing.
I hate pop culture.
Hope that concert is still posted because that is a killer setlist.

+1 for people that want to hear Slash on some CD songs, I'm very excited about this. But I'm more excited over the possibility of hearing Axl sing Fall to Peices and Slither.
I think that is much less likely given they aren't songs techincally in the GnR catalogue.. but I'm open to whatever the band and Axl wants to do.

Well, now Slash may get a chance to put his own spin on some of those songs.. at least in a live setting

Raising taxes doesn't help the middle class. Good jobs help the middle class. Higher paying good jobs. Every other solution does not help the middle class.
Bernie isn't proposing raising taxes on the middle class unless we can get on a single payer health care system, which would save money from overall, taking away premiums/deductables.

I suggested Bad Obsession because its a lower voice register song. But I'd love it if they brought back Dead Horse.

I have watched 4 episodes. Well the one where they find a whole in the cap of the blood container.... Holy shit this case is so fucked. And that 16 year old that is like forest Gump. They took advantage of that kid. Can't wait to see episode 5.
It gets worse.. much worse. That prosecutor is such a slimeball.

So what does Bernie believe in other than free stuff? Some people I really like seem to respect him, so someone that knows something about Bernie fill me in.
Bernie is appealing for many reasons.
First, he is not bought and paid for by the corporations/wall street/lobbyists/special interests. He does not have a super pac. When you take huge sums of money from corporate interests, they expect favors in return. In fact he is open about how he wants to take on all the special interests and corporate America.
Second, the man has been consistent on the positions for nearly 50 years. He supported gay rights way before it became acceptable for most politicans to do so. He doesn't care about what the polling says. He has stood up for what is right his entire career.
Even if you don't agree with him on the issues, his authenticity is something that is sorely lacking in politics and its hard to deny.
As far as 'free stuff', he wants to make OUR tax dollars work for US. Its our money. Every other major country out there is able to ensure its citizens have access to health care, have affordable higher education, etc.
I don't want free shit. I make a good living and am able to support my family. But I want a government that works for the interests of the middle class.. not the Walton family or Wall Street.

Dust N Bones only works if Izzy is there. But yea one of my favorites from the early UYI tour, how everyone did some singing, even Slash.. lol.
I think Double Talking Jive would make a nice addition to the setlist. Lower register vocals. And in my opinion one of the better rockers from the Illusions.
Bad Obsession could work nicely too.. Think Pitman can play some harmonica?
