Axl Rose said

What I'd tell any kid in high school is "Take business classes." I don't care what else you're gonna do, if you're gonna do art or anything, take business classes. You can say, "Well, I don't want to get commercial," but if you do anything to make any money, you're doing something commercial. You can be flipping hamburgers at McDonald's, but you're a commercial burger flipper.

Tomorrow will be 3 weeks... so far, so good. Also, my first physical in at LEAST a decade....

Should be interesting.... How goes the battle, Gong?

I'm still sober ... going to see the Sox play on Saturday.

That should be interesting.

Fenway Park and alcohol abuse / binge drinking go hand-in-hand to me.

It will be nice to do the 90 minute drive home sober for once.

It's just that an artist looses a lot of credibility in my eyes when he does something like that for no other apparent reason than a quick paycheck!

Yes. But why does the artist lose credibility for you?

Yes. It does appear that Slash is constantly doing stuff to make extra money - why does that bother you?

What other artists are you a fan of?

I'll vote for Godfather because I don't believe that Holy Grail can win this whole thing.

That being said, I really can't choose.

I originally was going to vote for Grail because Godfather is one of my favorite books and the movie isn't as good.

I would not consider myself a Slash-fan at all. I have some problems with things he's done, that to me reeks of sellout (VW-commercial...).

Do you think you could articulate (in your own words) why this bothers you so much?

Is it a problem with VW themselves, or are you just against any artist appearing in any commercial?

Finally, a tour I want to catch coming to the United States.

See, that wasn't that hard - and he doesn't even live here.
