My balls were aching all last night, kept me awake. I think my boxers were too tight. I'm still a bit sore now. Gonna roll a joint, pour a drink and go commando for a while and see if it helps.

99 IRS....notice the lead solo where Bucket's now is...sound familiar? I think it is Robin's solo on the final version. They just cut and paste Robin's in there for the 2008 leak version and the final CD version....unbelievable....recorded in 99.In any case, I like the drumming on these demos and the roughness of the songs.
Well spotted, I dont think I've listened to that version since it first leaked.

These are pretty damn cool though.
This I Love in particular sounds awesome and its nice to hear the outro of Catcher without the guitar noodling.

TWAT is one of the best songs GN'R has ever recorded.
Ha! Good one.

There Was A Time - just like I thought, a steaming topsy turvy turd only given credability by Buckethead saving the day at the end. Cool drums on that outtro as well.

Its been a while since I seen them, but any live footage I watch on youtube has Ron shredding and making noises whenever he isnt playing Slash's stuff.
Meh, I'm tired and cranky, even Appetite sucks tonight.

He is the only guy since Slash left who has a wonderful sense of melody in his playing, enhancing the songs even more. His playing was beautiful. He was the only guy who had the tools and savvy to outshine Slash, its a damn shame it never worked out.
Fortus, Finck and Foot couldnt conjure up a thimble full of melody between them at a live show.
