It must be fucking terrifying for Team Brazil to have an original member who has a business degree and massive experience back at Axl's side again...
Haha. Hadn't thought of that.

Ain't Life Grand has to make the cut.. Best piece of all round music he's ever produced in my opinion. My list is:
Slither
Vengeance is Mine (With Alice Cooper)
Neither Can I
Anastasia
Beggars and Hangers On
By The Sword
Just Like Anything
Set Me Free
Ain't Life Grand
Always on the Run (With Lenny Kravitz)
Promises
Speed Parade
Big Machine
Back from Cali
That's my list but to be fair I haven't given his new album a proper listen.

Duff doesn't need the money. From all accounts he's well taken care of from some very smart business investments, not to mention his wife's income. I'm sure it comes down to Duff really wanting to play with Axl. If the Microsoft investment was true, Duff has more money than all of the past and present members of GN'R combined... and then some. The dude is very, very wealthy, either way. Duff don't need no bones thrown his way
And Izzy no showed the HOF too and played a gig with Axl around the same time, and after. And I wouldn't be shocked if he made an apearance at this thing as well. I expect Tommy to be there too.
Yeah. Duff got lots of cash. The guy just toured the world with Walking Papers. He's got one hell of a catalog of writing credits too he makes money from:
Guns N Roses
Velvet Revolver
Some Janes Addiction- Last ALbum
Loaded
Walking Papers
He's played with a LOT of people too
Bach's new album
Izzy's Solo Stuff
Mark Lannegans Solo Stuff
He's also got like a journalism job and a banking job...
He's not in need of cash.
Looks to me like old friends burying the hatchet.

It is called promotion. Part of the reason GNR got so big. Something that is lacking in new GnR.
There is promotion and there's prostitution. If what he's saying is true then its promotion. What VR did for libertad was prostitution.

What a load of fucking shit. The man hasn't had a decent album since 2004ish. Why all the publicity.

Axl seems to be in his element here. His vocals are excellent.
It's So Easy
Patience
I love DJ's solo on this. Very fluid and lyrical.
Live and Let Die
Atitude
#269 Re: Dust N' Bones & Cyborg Slunks » Slash: Recording is done + working titles of the songs » 611 weeks ago
One has to admire Slash's consistency. This band seems to me like what he wanted Snakepit to become, and going with it seems more reasonable than VR or Guns.
More power to him on that, even if some of it would again reveal to be more workmanlike performances than breaking new ground as a musician. Still, effort alone beats panhandling past glories, that's for sure.
Tis funny; one of the working titles is You're the Truth, the counterpart of You're a Lie
Huh. Yeah interesting. Is Myles still on Vocals for this record?
