Best guitarist for what? What he did 20 years ago?
Yes.

That was very fucking cool for Slash to do that. But if Slash is so pro-Conan, why hasn't he scheduled a performance on his show?
Because Conan doesn't have a show?

The booklet is pretty disappointing IMO.
Another thing is that you'd need a magnifying glass to know that Izzy played on the disc.
Any one else find that a bit strange?
"Watch This" is billed as DAVE GROHL/DUFF MCKAGAN, while "Ghost" is billed as IAN ASTBURY.
Does anyone else think that Izzy didn't even show up for these sessions? Did Slash just use one of Izzy's old guitar tracks from their days as The Project?
Also agree with Aussie about giving the physical format buyers a reason to do so.

I pre-ordered 2 copies. 1 from Best Buy which came in the mail yesterday (no bonus anything) and 1 Classic Rock fan-pack which I have no idea when I'll be getting.

Yeah, I'm not ready to throw in the towel on the album just yet because I really do dig 5 songs on the album. And there are parts of the other songs that I enjoy but they haven't hit me yet and I find myself just wanting to listen to the 5 songs I like (Kennedyx2, Kid Rock, Fergie, Stockdale). It's still early, but the overall excitement just isn't there.
I was pumped to catch some shows since Axl is ignoring the States, but it doesn't look like either act will be playing in the NorthEast / New England any time soon, so my excitement has really cooled-off.
I imagine I'll have to wait 7 months to go see Slash play 90 minutes away on a Wednesday night in November, and then wait another 4 years for him to come around again.
And, yes, I'm whining - I know.
