Zero crowd pop for TWAT at all there. I don't think his mid range has gone so much as adopting this Mickey falsetto voice for the higher stuff makes it more dificult to change registers mid song, which makes it sound low on power.
I like TWAT but I wouldn't mind if it was dropped from the setlist. It's a song he struggles with vocally, understandably, it's also the diamond of the CD era and perhaps should be left alone unless there's some bizarre CD era reunion one day. There's also clearly zero crowd appetite for it.

Went to gig after a lot of debate. At the time BHS was a terribly sad moment for myself & I thought Axl did it justice.
Chris cast a pall over the day that wasn't able to overcome imo. It was an extremely good GnR gig but the spectre of Chris hangs heavy. Lovely tribute. Was the only song worth singing on the way back after the gig.
What time did they come on?

^ I'd guess they'll be somewhere in between.

I can understand frustration on no new music. Hell frustration is our default setting. I just don't get why this video is what's sending people (one person) over the edge. Like Axl sat at home editing the video himself. A promo company will have done it with a brief that some new dates will be announced so make a video to hype it up.
Was it a bit misleading? Maybe, a bit. No new music in 9 years is entirely on Axl. Having a meltdown because a facebook video that promised nothing ultimately delivered nothing aside some new tour dates and was almost certainly not even seen by Axl? Sorry that's not on Axl.

I just don't understand the upset whatsoever. How dare they try fucking build some hype and excitement around a tour date announcement?!? It's called promotion, something we were begging from GNR for about 15 years. Now they have the gall to try and build a bit of interest around their own tour, on their own facebook page and it's a problem?

Ok, so new dates announced? Not that exciting and not really a surprise in the whole sheme of things. Not entirely sure it warranted the days delay but then again maybe they needed to re-edit the video. Either way I'm certainly not going to get annoyed at them for promoting and publicising their tour, even if I was quietly hoping for something a bit more.

Well nothing that I remember but then again GNR have never played on the Nice promenade to my knowledge. GNR have however played at Manchester arena 3 times in recent years and VR have at least once. Maybe this one hit them a bit harder than others?

Axl has never sounded better
I like fortus and enjoy the current band a lot but that's just not true.
I think with AC/DC Axl sounded the best he has since the late 80's.which is some achievement for a guy in his mid 50's.
For GNR from the boots I've heard, once he got settled in to the NITL tour, his voice is somewhere between 06 level and Ashba era. Which would be ok, considering age etc but now we know what he can still do it makes me want to see that level at GNR shows.

Urgh just sickening. May as well have walked in to a kids party and done it.
Hit me quite hard has this, I've been to that arena loads of times and was there only a few weeks ago. I was also working in Manchester today and was on my way there this morning when I heard the news.
Keep wondering if there'll ever be a time where we don't have to worry about this shit anymore.

Really? Can't tell if you're being sarcastic.
All the leaders except the only two who could possibly be PM. I'll pass.
