Thanks for posting that link. I dig it.
James, you should reserve your vitriol till after you actually hear the music sometimes. No offense, but you seem to sometimes take these wild emotional leaps from one post to the next.
As for Manson's lyrics, if one were to listen beyond the band's singles and their uses of the dreaded f-word, Manson's strongest abilities are in his role as a lyricist. He frequently uses clever double entendres and neologisms in both his songwriting and otherwise. Seek it out. I once wrote a philosophy thesis about the artistic associations within Manson's work. Aced that motherfucker.
Fuckin right on!
What disapointed me most about GAOG was all the swearing and shit, he used to be much better than that. There are a few great songs on it all the same, but I think the weak songs on that album are his weakest ever. Thats when he started to go downhill imo, I had such high hopes for it as well.

I have all Mansons albums, he has more than a couple of good songs thats for sure, and he is much more talented than you guys give him credit for. I was pretty disapointed by Golden Age Of Grotesque and Eat me, Drink Me though.
AntiChrist, Mechanical Animals and Holywood are fucking great albums though, definently him in his prime.
I seen him on the Guns, God and Goverments tour and it was spectacular, I'm not to bothered about seeing him again though, his best days are behind him, why ruin the memory.
Those songs are gone, cant hear them. I downloaded one today from his site "We're from America" - I think it sucked. He has said all that shit before, but he put it much better first time around. I'll still buy the album though, there will be at least one song I like.

Thats a pretty damn good interview!!
He is cut from a different cloth from me for sure, I'd be going nuts if the singer hadnt shown up yet and the crowd were on the verge on rioting.
I find that whole GNR plays by its own rules song and dance quite pathetic, its was kinda cool when I was young and they were younger too, but they are all middle aged now and doesnt hold the same water as it used to.
Its a cop out line for being pretty inept.
Apart from those gripes, awesome interview. Ron wasnt even there when Brian May was around and he is praising the guy I guess they might have crossed paths before though.
I wish he added a "sleaze factor" to Riad, its one of my favourite songs on the album but has my least favourite solo

Another must have is the Last Of The Mohicans soundtrack, that is epic from start to finish!

Damn Ax, some of them are iconic, never really thought about buying them before. Some, like Predator, Terminator and Back To The Future I actually really like as part of the movie experience and it would feel strange listening to them without the visual action.
I do quite fancy picking up the Robocop one and Psycho though.
Unforgiven is one of favourite films and I cant believe I have never thought of getting the soundtrack, I love it.
One of my favourite movie scenes of all time is when he walks into that saloon at the end to revenge what they bastards did to Ned.

Tango & Cash was a great film, I like it how never got a sequel, it keeps its uniqueness. Its damn funny.
I cried my eyes out when my dad took my older brother to see Rocky IV in the cinema and I got left at home for being too young. The bastards lets me watch Rocky 1, 2 and 3 but I'm too young for 4?! What do I get, mum taking me to see The Black Cauldron
I gave a a presentation in college about the Rocky films and designed a poster for Rocky 6, years before it even came out. Totally unrelated to the course, but it was all about communiction skills and the Rocky box set was flavour of the month in my student flat.
I have never seen a full Rambo film to be honest, I think I will check out First Blood asap.
