I've been a Prince fan just as long as I've been a GNR fan and Prince still amazes me with his musicianship and just his ability to do so many styles of music.
My fave prince album of all time is Emancipation and I tell u what, Lotus Flower is probably his best album since Emancipation.

Minneapolis Sound is Sign O The Times like.
It is some of his best work in a very long time. Lotus Flower has 4 songs I really like, the rest will take some listens.
That damn Minneapolis Sound CD though. WOW! Most of the songs on there would easily be right at home on any Prince Greatest hits CD.

Yeah but those guys were receiving pretty big checks to sit around and not do shit though. So just because they didn't officially "LEAVE" doesn't necessarily mean anything.
who would leave a high paying job with minimal work?

He's good but Im just not a fan of the big two thousand note a second solo things. I just don't get much out of that.
the stuff he plays afterwards is cool though.
