I would love to hear Riad live. Fingers crossed that Brain will be there brutalising the drum set!!

Found this the other day and it raised a chuckle

GN'Rs popularity was in rapid decline by the end of the Illusion tour and The Spagetti Incident hardly set the world on fire, a lot of people seem to conveniently forget that and sweep it under the carpet when pining for days of yore.
I'm not bothered at all about hearing the hits live, they never played most of the songs I wanted to hear anyway when I seen them in 06. The past is the past, when I go to see this version of GNR its to experience the new music, anything else will be a bonus.

That intro is ghastly but the song itself is not bad, its hardly revolutionary but I dont think it tries to be. I think the "appetite on steroids" remark fits this more than any other, it has always reminded me of Think About You. I just think the structure and simple but effective melodies are very similar to TAY, while they are not the most complex songs on either album both are catchy and short n sweet.
I dont like it being song 2 on the album at all, I think it would be much more effective later on in the album.

Rons solo does nothing for me, it sounds like the ZX Spectrum I had as a child loading up Dizzy or something, thankfully the solo is shorter than the 45 minutes or so that the old games took to load up.
