Velvet Revolver, a band with NO brand name, started from scratch and has torched the New GNR sales wise. I can hear a million excuses but I don't give a shit cause the numbers don't lie.

I believe Axl had this huge illusion that HE was Guns N Roses, and HE was the reason the band was awesome and Slash and CO were lucky to be in his presence.

He probably figured Slash would leave, no longer be a star or loved and would come crawling, begging back.

what happened was, Slash went on to become even a BIGGER star and Axl has now made GNR a fucking joke.

it just pisses me off everytime I hear him make some lame bullshit excuse and take zero culpability.

I am tempted to go have my Axl tattoo I have covered up.

Anyone ever watch the Dukes Of Hazzard growing up?

Well, they replaced the extremely popular and awesome Bo and Luke Duke with two carbon copy looking dudes named Coy and Vance

They still called the show The Dukes Of Hazzard but it just was never the same.

I feel this way with GNR. Had Axl just released it as his name, I think it would be different.

when u put GNR on it and u have guys kind of mimicking Slash in some ways........... it just comes off wrong in a lot of ways.

He went from never, to now working with Izzy and Duff

U get Izzy and Duff talking in his ear, and u just never fucking know.

I think Axl could get a long with TODAY's sober, more mature, grown up Slash

Sure 10 years ago was difficult, but it seems everyone has grown up and moved on except Axl.

Duff is in phenomenal shape, college degree, family, writer
Slash is healthy, playing on successful projects and seems just in a better place

Axl though, still seems bitter,angry and just no different like he hasn't evolved any.

The song is worn out and shit now, but God Damn that WTTJ riff is sleazy

that should be taught in Riff Writing 101.
