There is talk of GN'R appearing at Download again, I think the final headliner will be announced this week.
I would rather they played a proper music festival, rather than a rock festival like Download. Too many spotty teenage haters attending who love to try and sabbotage the set and throw shit at Axl.

She is in cahoots with the beggars and hangers on that are referred to as "the gnr camp".
I was looking at her myspace page a few months back after she posted somewhere talking about her new band. She hangs out with fernando, vanessa and dizzy's wife sometimes.
She is probably looking to score brownie points with that lot, another martyr sent out to destroy Slash's name roll

Sorry, I got it mixed up a bit:

"Quote
Q: Have you heard Guns N' Roses' album Chinese Democracy?
AI sing a song on it. It's one album that's incredible. I've heard many, many demos from Chinese Democracy. I haven't heard the album in a while though, not since January 2007. At that time Axl had about 40 songs going. All demos. We spent all night just cranking it.

I've been in touch with him, and he's got one album ready to go. When he played me all the stuff, it was all so good, I thought he had four albums. I said that in the press, and he texted me: "Dude, I don't have four albums. Quit saying that. You're fucking me up!" (Laughs.) Axl wanted me to tell the press he has one incredible album, and it's coming out."

I read on another forum an interview with Baz and he said Axl told him to "stop telling people he had 4 albums as it was more like 2."

Welcome dude. I believe we will see another album this year or next year 5

#3175 Re: Guns N' Roses » GUNS N' ROSES To Play Italy In May Or June? » 925 weeks ago

I dont buy into the economy argument. People suffered hard times in the 80's and early 90's and music events where hugly popular in many genres, some music scenes are born, develop and grow through hard times.

The kids wanna party, nothings gonna stop them. Embrace the opportunity if you really fear it, drop prices, play smaller gigs and more often. Make yourself available to people and make them talk about you and rave about you. I would rather GN'R came back as a band for the people, than a out of your range expensive rock extravaganza.

There was nothing too expensive or extravagant about the show I seen in the UK anyway, reasonably priced and good value. The price of a concert ticket is only the same price as a night on the town with your mates getting drunk.

Bands like U2 and the Stones however, I wouldnt pay their prices even if I was flush.

I quite liked Teddy Zig Zag, the harmonica in Bad Obsession is cool as fuck!

I cant stand the Live Era version of Move To The City, its painful to listen to. Like something you would hear in the lobby of a Las Vegas casino.

The version they played live in 87/88 was killer.

Nobody believes anymore. Any tour that does get booked I would still believe in a 50% chance of the plug being pulled early.

Who's gonna be available to play in May, are half the band not on tour elsewhere?

I could scan it but you might ban me!!

HTGTH gets a mention as "becoming Axl's mouthpiece in recent years" 14

That sucks sad

Its strange how plane crashes never seem to be a singular one off event, when one plane goes down within a short time there is usually another one or two.

So  did anyone else get the magazine? I got it last night, its quite a good interview, he talks a little about Great White as well. There was quite a few things that we havnt heard about before. He reveals the location of the missing million dollars that Izzy freaked out over, "it was in an escrow account, it was to be released when Guns booked a tour of a certain size or had recouped the other $1.5 million they had already recieved as an advance against merchendise sales."

Zakk Wilde has an interview in the magazine with Axl and Slash mentions, he calls Slash a sweetheart and Axl a beautiful guy.

There is a small interview with a band called "The Trews" who say they supported GNR, I've never heard of them.

"We were told not to talk to Axl and not to look at Axl or we'd get kicked off the tour. We wernt even allowed within 300 ft of him. It was fine because he's Axl Rose and we were nobodies. One night we were supposed to play for 45 minutes, and when we were playing our last song the road manager is motioning us to - like stetch it out, keep playing - because Axl had decided he wasnt going on stage until midnight"
