The filmmakers are targeting a Halloween 2017 release, although no writer or director has been announced as of this writing.

17 months from a clean slate. Ouch.

You'd think he'd have a vocal coach, by now. Angus and Duff could surely talk him into it.

He's looking at the current 13-date run with AC/DC, quickly followed by 25 with Guns - and maybe those 10 rescheduled NA dates.

That's 48 shows and around 5 months of solid touring. His opportunity to take all he picked up from '91-'93, and put it into good use.

If he be bothered to stay in shape and within a reasonable headspace, it's a career renaissance - otherwise, he'll have an egg on his face.

TMT's a good song, too. Would go well in a Guns set as a mandatory cover, methinks.

I hear it's only been played live once before, by the Bon Scott-era band in 1979.

Like Riff Raff, it seems like a song they included because Axl wanted to belt out some of his favorite tunes.

Pretty funny, about other bands Axl should front.

Even the haters are copping to the fact that Axl Rose is completely crushing his new gig touring as frontman for Aussie hard rockers AC/DC. Did even the most hardcore Guns N’ Roses fans expect anything like this?

After the warm-up shows? Frankly, no. We did witness him rising above the quagmire of 2011-14 to a friskier performer, again.

Hardcores tend to curb their enthusiasm on all things Axl much more than the common joe.

Maybe we'll hear

Was it supposed to be a Guns song or something?

Some claim he's kicking ass on various performances and that's fine, its all subjective, but in every video I've watched of the past few CD tours I see a guy who doesn't care and is just going through the motions.

Those are some enthusiastic motions to go through with - not just for Axl, but the entire band.

one thing that seems to have been overlooked in the last few months of speculation, is that the manager of the joint in vegas said in an interview in june 2014

Wow, that's amazing.

I’m reliably told that business at the box office has been phenomenal and even better than frontman Axl Rose anticipated. “So much so, he’s begun thinking about putting the original group all back together for a global tour. That would be the biggest-selling rock tour of all tours,” one knowledgeable insider told me.

Ron was leaving. The lineup was due for a shakedown, anyway. A decision had already been made to 'leave it in Vegas'.

And [The Joint executive Don Marrandino] himself told me: “They are definitely thinking of returning for another mini-run at the Hard Rock. We’ve already had conversations about converting one of the restaurant venues into a Guns N’ Roses hangout with its own barbecue and hamburger lineup.

Stay of Execution was never clarified, but it could've tied into another residency.

Man.

Watch Those About to Rock. Angus is still an energy bunny, and Axl seems to have amalgamated into the band already. Everybody's looking sharp and happy to be there. His voice, too, is holding up well after a full show.

The crowd loves them. The show is followed by a bellow that peaks as loud as the band itself. Third show in, and the confidence Axl exudes is that of the new AC/DC frontman, instead of the touring replacement. New jacket seals the deal for me - he has his plans hatched, again 16

Notable is the way Axl walks out. No crutches, no limp, he seems to be moving rather fluently. In around early June, the next point of interest in Axl/DC will come up - ditching the remnants of the Iron Throne.

#320 Re: The Sunset Strip » The classic Misfits line-up is reuniting » 522 weeks ago

The Misfits had a rather solid resurgenge in '96-'00 with Michale Graves on vocals and Dr Chud on drums. After they walked, Only took over the lead vocals and made some 'inspired' merchandise deals, perhaps devaluing the Crimson Ghost legacy somewhat. At least, he was well-paid, it seems.

Bringing Danzig back at this point is best for all. His solo career is slowing down. Again, he could've done it in '96, but opted security to remove Only and Doyle from his hotel room door.

Good for them, but the one lineup that got away was the one in 1987 - fronted by Thor. That'd been killer. 9
