I've been hestitant to wade myself into this debate, but I'll ask once: Why was there such a big deal on this Rittenhouse thing?  Is it just on racial lines/issues?

Or why should Americans outside of Wisconsin care about this?

The riots were pretty politically charged already. The protests were widely supported, but there was huge friction about the riots and it was split down political lines: progressives tried to defend them, conservatives blasted them, while the majority of average Americans who supported the protests were against the rioting. It depended on The media you consumed.

The fact this kid was white, considered a trump supporter, was a fire bomb in an already combustible situation. A lot of it falls on the media for how it was portrayed. It really shouldn't have been a national story, and no one should have gotten so invested/obsessed/consumed in hating/supporting the kid.

It's hysterical he ended up being a BLM supporter.

It's always the media....the media has control over you...you are under control by media...you are incapable of real thought...that's the summary here...

I'm a smart, capable, individualist American...but the media which I choose to consume is the problem...

Everyone will have a different answer to this question...

My answer is threefold...

1) Guy crossed state lines...obtained a gun illegally and killed someone...that should matter whether it's Wisconsin, Utah or Japan...
2) He's now a hero
3) It's an excellent example of how the justice system treats people differently...as similar cases seem to be decided by a 'wheel of justice' depending on where you are...

Any chance Kyle Rittenhouse can kill Trump in self defense?

Lol Trump's interview yesterday...how could anyone make fun of Biden after that? We all got so used to this moronic bullshit...Trump is a moron...he talks like he's had a few strokes and somehow has the mentality of a 5 year old.

I have noticed the "My body, my choice!" rhetoric is eerily absent this time from Pro-Choice advocates.  Wonder if it has to do with their support of vaccine mandates?

Weird way to interpret this….either way….i won’t hire an unvaccinated fuck…

I’m hoping gun rights activists support the shooter in Michigan and his parents….MAGA fucking tard

What i notice most is gun rights activists suddenly so  silent…

I had a friend just obtain TBI from a defective gun…he’s disintegrated  before my very eyes…shotgun blew up in his face….

Hoorah for me and fuck you

The mass shooting in Michigan today validates Rittenhouse….the student had a right to be there….he had a right to obtain a gun illegally to defend himself and this whole legal proceeding is a sham.

As the illegitimate Wisconsin government run by thugs redraw districts again for the second time in 10 years…republicans in the state tighten their stranglehold. In a state Biden won…the representation will be 6-2 or 7-1 in favor of Republicans.

It’s no coincidence the architect of all this is from the same area as Rittenhouse’s sham trial.

Sorry for your loss....

Wisconsin should be squeezed in between Mississippi and Alabama….
