Ouch was there really a 2 week break scheduled after the 2nd episode? Not good timing when a show gets mixed responses and needs to pick up steam. It's even worse considering it's only a 6 episode season.

Well the first season of the Walking Dead was 6 episodes too. I definitely agree that they should of planned this spin off a little better to avoid the holiday weekend. Especially since most shows have been doing this in the late summer for some odd reason and yes it does hurt the pace and the attention of viewers. They've already announced a 2nd season of Fear with 15 episodes; so obviously AMC has faith in the later episodes and their showrunner. They can't afford another Darabount situtation.

Jimmy, sounds like you are suggesting a scenario similar to VH releasing an album. Cherry pick from all the unreleased stuff. Not opposed to it in general but I really dont want CD II tampered with by classic GNR. CD II should have been released right after CD or actually released with CD. Its been 7 years which is crazy. I still have some hope in its release but if some sort of reunion happens first, we're never getting it. Its too late for a fall release so I guess best case scenario would be next summer.

I wish Axl would confirm or quash this Slash situation.

I would love a VH ADKoT scenario since that album was fantastic. Just only with CD II/vault material or the 95'/96' demos with some Izzy's songs that were given to Axl. Not both concepts combined. I want to see the rest of Bucket and Robin's output. Atlas, Silkworms, Soul Monster, Seven, Jackie Chan, The General, all that jazz. Like others have said, release the CD sessions finished up, and then do whatever pre-CD GNR reunion material if there is any that's salvageable.

Pretty good stuff. I've always thought Tommy should record an album with Duff. Get Frank on drums, Fortus in for any guitar solos that are necessary, and have Tommy and Duff alternate bass, guitar and vocals. It'd be great.

That would kick ass.

Damn good stuff. Very upbeat and jammy. Wish Tommy the best with the new EP.

TBH I thought the hype would've been pretty heavy at this point.  Aside from blogs & articles etc, and a few little marketing (cereal, toys etc) I've heard very little so far. Thought it would be much bigger, like y2k.

I think with Disney's recent trend of having like 20 or 30 different trailers for Age of Ultron that spoiled alot of details about the movie, they kind of want to keep the main plot synopsis and the reveal of certain character's last names close to their chest. Other studios aren't innocent from this tactic either. Also the fact that they haven't shown anything regarding the whereabouts of Luke, Leia, and Max Von Sydow's character either. Some trailers and TV spots are edited poorly nowadays. The toys that were released this past "Force Friday" show the main cast that will be a part of this movie and probably future films. Even some of them feature functions that show character dialogue that appears in Episode 7. I'm excited in seeing this flick since I'm not hearing any worrisome news about the production.

There are rumors floating around that they may show a new trailer in October or maybe sometime this month. They did show a "15 second" spot featuring new footage on Instagram a few weeks ago. Everyone wants this movie to succeed and be great.

Also here is an official pic from "Rogue One".

Scraped. I don't hate the song and it's still a good track; but after re-listening to the album several times it gets picked as the 2nd weakest in my honest opinion. I still enjoy it. I fucking love Shackler's and Oh My God. Those riffs...! This I Love for me works by Robin's guitar solo alone as well as the orchestration. Sure the lyrics aren't great. Prostitute has killer performances by Bucket and Brain with the piano and orchestra having this attack pattern with the chorus.

I've listened to a couple of their tracks from awhile back. What I did hear, I really enjoyed. I will definitely check out more from this band. I just have to catch up on a couple other artists' albums first. You making any more new music, Rex? Really dug some of the stuff you made a few years ago.

#349 Re: The Sunset Strip » Goodnight Mommy » 523 weeks ago

Yeah...I've watched some reviews for it that didn't spoil anything besides the main synopsis. They said to avoid the trailers; but the movie itself was quite good. I will probably see it sometime soon probably when it's on-demand or on one of the movie channels.

That was so much better than I expected it to be. Did you not see it in the cinema this summer Neemo? It really is best with a big screen and loud music.

I wholeheartedly agree with those statements. What a lovely movie!!
