Yeah it's a good read. I learned a lot of new stuff. You get a pretty good idea why the original lineup broke up too. You get the sense they were destined to make a huge splash, leave their mark, and then flame out. Thankfully they all survived.
It really is amazing that they all are alive.
On topic: Finally got my copy of Reckless Road last month - and I am not disappointed (FYI - it's cheaper if you buy it on Amazon).

I'd seen Neil Young every tour from 1990 on, but in Summer 2000 I saw him on the Silver and Gold tour (remember the single, "Buffalo Springfield Again"?) and he was terrible.
I don't remember if it was at Great Woods in Boston, or The Meadows in Hartford, but the show sucked.
It was slow and sloppy and put me off Neil for good. I'm not even a fan anymore.
Definitely the worst concert I've seen.

Couple that with the fact (or at least speculation) that Fergie's husband has reportedly been cheating on her. What better way to get back at him than banging Slash AND everyone in the Black Eyed Peas, which as Howard Stern has mentioned on many occasions he's sure she's already done.

I'd like to know why he gave that interview saying Axl refused to go on stage unless they signed over the name, which became carved into the media and publics consciousness. Then shamelessly wrote a book with told a completely different story, apparantly unaware of his previous version!
I know why, cause he was high on smack and talking shit to play the fans making himself look like a hero. And he wonders why the guy is misunderstood
The true story is that Axl refused to go on another (newly added) leg of the UYI tour unless they signed over the name.
Both Axl and Slash have misrepresented this story.

I don't believe that - but i also don't beleive Slash is a whore either.
