Man, shit like this is so great.
On one hand I love the rapport between the guys, it's great to see them clearly having a good time.
On the other it demonstrates what a meandering, purposeless, noodlefest KOHD has become. I don't mind it being in the setlist but I'd like it to go back to the AFD or UYI era version everyone knows. In it's current form I don't think even Axl knows when he's meant to be singing let alone the crowd.

Bucket`s Sorry solo trumps everything Slash had done on his own. He`s good but some of you tend to overrate him to death. Bucket did n`t try to emulate Slash, he did his own thing and god damn, result is brilliant.
The first time I heard the Sorry solo I immediately though of Dave Gilmour rather than Slash and I think I read a few reviews that drew the same comparison. Perhaps it doesn't emulate Slash but I wouldn't say it's all Bucket either.

Nah. No-one questioned the need for Darryl Jones and Ron Wood when Bill Wyman and Mick Taylor guested on the Rolling Stones' last tour. The touring line-up with Frank and Fortus is a well-oiled machine and is the obvious choice to take into the studio; it can happily accommodate guest spots. Izzy will be happy enough guesting – for the right price – and it fits into his lifestyle better than being part of a big touring production, with all the drama and schedules and faffing about. Adler is just happy to be there playing with his boys.
Apples and oranges I think.
Ronnie Wood probably has the 3rd biggest public profile of any Rolling Stone past or present. Nobody would call for him to step aside because to many he's as much a Rolling Stone as Mick and Keith. Their discog with Ron is bigger and more successful than most bands could dream of.
Whilst not Ronnie Wood level fame Izzy and Steven have a bigger profile than Richard and Frank. Not to mention most of GNR's crowning musical acheivements came with one or both of them in the band.
I take your point on the practicalities of touring with Izzy and Steven and agree but to a casual or the media I think it would definitely raise the question.

Izzy being backstage does suggest we might get the AFD 5 sooner than we thought though.
They need to be careful how they handle it though because much like Slash returning in the CD era people might not accept anything else. Nobody was going to want DJ or Ron if Slash started guesting. Likewise if Izzy and Steven start making guest appearances together at random shows people will start questioning the need for Frank and Richard.

Sounds like a fuss about nothing.
We know Izzy was backstage but didn't come out for whatever reason. So perhaps there was tension over something. Those security/handler guys are paid to ensure the show goes off without a hitch. If there's Izzy backstage and they know there's been a bit of drama (speculation) and there's a fan holding up a 'Where's Izzy?' sign, it's not a massive leap to see why they might think it best to remove the sign. With or without Axl's (or Slash and Duffs) say so.

So the other story from today, Pogba might be joining United for £100 million after even Madrid decided it was a bit too much.
What do you guys think?
Crazy money. He's a good player no doubt but tends to be hit and miss. He can look like the worlds best midfielder one week and then be totally anonymous the next. The Euro final being a perfect example, he was completely out played by Sissoko on the night.
If you're paying £100 million you expect a player who is putting in +8/10 performances every week. The only other players who could command that kind of money (Ronaldo, Messi, Bale, Suarez, Neymar) are all at that kind of level. Pogba isn't and whilst he is young, at 23 age won't be an excuse for long.
Still a good player but I think if true Man Utd are over paying by £40-50 million.

I think on paper we would. Englands starting 11 is stronger overall than Portugals imo. Unfortunately we go to pieces in competetive tournaments so saying what England 'would' do is always difficult. I do maintain player by player we have a better possible side but so did about 7 other nations at this Euros.
Okay I'm going to question that unfortunately.
Ronaldo>Vardy
Pepe>Cahill
Joao Moutinho>Milner
Renato>based upon this tournament was better than every English player including SterlingI'm definitely not a Nani fan, but let's be honest is he these days much worse than Rooney?
The rest is all debatable, but I personally don't think it's that much stronger. Although the English players in this squad were certainly better paid.
I just don't think it's that clear cut.
Ronaldo is a given of course but for me he's the only clear cut one in Portugals favour.
I'll give you Pepe over Cahill but I wouldn't pick Cahill anyway, he's hopeless without Terry holding his hand. Pepe is a walking red card however.
Why is Milner in there? He's a utility sub, Moutinho is their starting central midfielder. Moutinho or Alli would be fairer and I'd pick Alli tbh.
Portugal have just proved however that games aren't won on paper. Whilst in fantasy football land I would back the England side against Portugal they have a long way to go to match the togetherness, teamwork and spirit required to win a tournament.

Portugal played for penalties once Ronaldo left. Can't blame them, their main attacking threat was off the pitch. France didn't do enough in the end, I'd say Portugal were the better side in extra time. Settled by a cracking goal from a Swansea reject.
