this is awesome.
this is why axl is so fucking fun. even if you hate him for whatever reasons, you have to admire his ability to say No to The Man.
in this case i believe he is more right than wrong.
the way it's played has been a fun ride to - ever since azoff left & then filed that lawsuit the talk of his motives really went through the roof online & all the while we're waiting to see if axl goes on any rants on the tour but we have to wait 5 months for this bombshell.. fun times. this is easily the most fun band on the planet IMO.

think the belfast n dublin gigs have sold out atm though probably more will go on sale at somestage.
i got tickets for belfast but was just too expensive to make the trip down south. if the setlists are spectacular & different night to night i'll reconsider.

BUT also, i listen to my ipod via my stereo much more often than i listen to it thru earphones.
but i know what u mean. in general it is just a storage device, but it's also nifty if yuou want a quick blast of something without having to search thru ur cd's.

yea i tend to keep it on there sort of as a back-up incase my comp gets wiped or my cd-r's get destroyed. but @ the highest bitrate possible so it still works somewhat.

i have a GnR-only ipod.
and even then my main ipod has about 2gb of GnR on it anyway (inc the '06 rock am ring vid)... never travel far, without a little gn'r, man.

I wonder if it was the Guitar Hero thing? Slash certaintly made a killing on that, and in Axl's eyes he was using his GN'R-likeness to make money. In other words, Slash was on the cover, featured heavily throughout the game, and Jungle, a Guns song, was the big featured song in the game. It made him look like he was back in the band, yet Slash made all the money... I assume. He was even doing commercials, soloing, yet the commercials all featured Slither if I remember correctly.
that is a point. possible it's at least partially the reason it went so tits up.. axl made a point of talking about that in the chats didn't he??
imo there definitely seems to be a will on the non-axl side for a reunion & i'd be shocked if there haven't been occassions when axl has considered it & there is a lot of evidence to suggest something may have been in the works for '08 at some stage.. i agree with those something definitely happened towards making a reunion.

I admire your balls, but when you make an attack on a famous person their fans will always react strongly, makes threads that bash ppl absolute warzones.
Why not just make a thread on how Great Bucket is? RAther than how bad BBF is?. Bit of positivity goes a long way
This thread may have been my fault since the wording may not have been the best, it was not to bash Ron at all.
It was for the people who just want to call me a troll or what not to keep it in this thread instead other thread that discuss his playing ability.
People need to learn to debate someones opinion and not just call them names because they cannot write an opinion why they disagree.
lol. ur previous thread to begin with was about terrible it is that axl doesn't communicate with the fans as much as some of the other band members, not about ron's playing.
someone with your history should have realised a long time ago how little axl corresponds with the outside world. now, there are only two reasonable conclusions to draw when a person as long in the tooth as yourself is broadcasting such thoughts like they are a ghastly revelation, 1: you're an idiot who never learns, 2: you're trolling looking for attention.
surely by this stage you've got your attention quota filled for a couple of months & then you'll be back come the US tour saying how awful it is they don't have a video to support the tour or they don't play tv shows or do interviews yada yada yada looking for more attention.

funnily enough after getting excited about going to get slash tickets i started blasting the illusions yesterday for the first time in ages & yesterday i must've ended up listening to Estranged in particular about 10 times. at least.
words can't do that song justice.

tickets on sale tomorrow/wednesday @ 9. priced £34.
dunno what the english/uk dates are though more are to be announced soon.
both relatively small venues. gonna try & get to both. wish me luck 2moro morning tryin 2 get tickets!!
