So far I've played the music for my girlfriend (25) and her friend (22).
They liked the expected ones: Better/Street of Dreams (EVERYONE I've played this for likes it, seriously BONO!)/T.W.A.T. and the title song.
I was kind of surprised that they liked Shackler's Revenge (I don't much)/Prostitute (hasn't hit me hard)/ and not so surprised This I Love.
They pretty much were mediocre to everything else. I know many like Sorry but they were so so on it saying "It doesn't sound like GNR"...lol. Actually that song has grown on me.

I got mine in today, will do a review after about a week of listening. Some songs (i.e. If The World) have really grown on me.
One thing I'm glad of is that there were more songs than we thought a few months ago. Shackler's Revenge/Scraped/Sorry and This I Love were nice surprises. We knew from the setlist If The World and Prostitute were coming but for the most part they were nice surprises as well.
From what I've heard so far at this point I like some things added but dislike others. Will have to listen a few times for a solid feel of the music in its final form.

I don't think we can do that just yet. I believe there is a certain amount of time that has to pass first, I'll try and find out what amount of time that is exactly. I'm not a fan of stuff like Kanye because it has no substance (in my opinion), but popular music is very much like our economy right now...fucked. For that reason I HOPE CD will outsale Kanye's latest collection of nothing but it isn't likely.

That must have been one very surreal moment Bono! The song playing during that event would definitely create "suggestions" to the mind as to what the event being viewed actually was!

I honestly think alot of you are in for a reality check when the average Joe hears Street of Dreams. People are gonna think that song sucks. If I'm wrong I'll change my username to Bono Jr
