Their steel shines red, with enemy blood
It sings of victory, granted by the Gods
And as they return, bleeding but proud
The horizon burns... and the song is ringing loud!!

by my reckoning you've forgot about "axl time". nobody really knows when the show 'should' be starting.
be good if there's streams of the euro tour where us civilized* folk could watch @ a reasonable hour.*being a hun, Olorin, you of course aren't really counted as civilized!
If he goes on at 11pm in Glasgow any civilised folks in the vicinity better be wearing a hard hat and padding.

#367 Re: Guns N' Roses » "Blood in the Water" (NEW idea discussion) » 756 weeks ago
I kinda think its real, low quality and not close to finished but something inside is telling me its real.
I listened to this one : http://soundcloud.com/bruno-do-amaral/b … ewater-mod
And the "blood in the water" is clearly Axl at the start of the track. And its clearly said all in one breath and not copy and pasted together. It sounds like CD type material.
Sounds like a hip hop song, on that version you can hear there are a lot of different voices that aint Axl, wonder who they are?
The piano is from Prostitute and those heavy guitar stabs are as well, just slowed down.
I'm not convinced Axls singing isnt spliced together, "the oooh" and "I see" could be from the CD moggs and theres something weird about the words blood and water, they are kind of fuzzy and not pronounced clearly like its 2 sounds Axls made and peiced together, the additional vocals on top of someone else saying blood and water seems like a disguise to hide it.
I'm not convinced it isnt real either, sounds like too much effort has been put into it just to be from a forum nerd noising up other forum nerds
If it is real I doubt its a real GNR version of a song, sounds like a remix for a B-side, its more like something Lady Gaga would put out than Guns N' Roses.

Suprised to be reading all the folk saying Myles sucked, and dont like his style at all but I listened to these and he was brilliant, only watched SCOM and PC but he fuckin nailed them.
Great performances by all, Slash was brilliant, and I just love hearing Adler and the drums again, nearly 50 years old and he still has that boyish energy in abundance

I was thinking today about how odd it is that if Tommy, Chris, Dizzy, DJ, Richard, and DJ were to book a gig tomorrow as Guns N'Roses and play new stuff they'd wrote together the public reaction would be mute.
Then I got thinking again, why dont they write Guns N'Roses stuff together anyway, fuck waiting on Axl to give the go ahead. Then I realized, these guys are Axls employees, not saying that as a negative, but they get paid when they are on tour and according to Brain there is no retainer when they arnt doing anything. The guys involved with writing CD were on a wage/salary during that time which added to the huge bill, and got paid for those shows they did plus whatever they were entitled too for CD sales I'd imagine.
But the real reason why those guys are not getting together on a whim on GNR downtime to record together is because they are not getting paid too, so they all go and focus on their solo stuff to earn their bread.
So only when these guys are contracted and paid to write will they write for Guns N'Roses, am I right?
