That was one of the tracks I was looking forward to hearing. About three years ago that track got a bit of hype.
At least the 'Holy Grail' of the sessions(This I Love) is being unveiled. A track dating back to right after the UYI release making the album is a pretty big deal.
That track would have been on a post TSI album had the old band not split apart. In that 1992 Axl RS interview, it was the only track he specifically named.
Yeah but I'm going to out on a limb and assume it will have a shitload of overproduction compared to old GN'R (even UYI stuff like November Rain). Axl has been fiddle-farting on these songs for too long I think, to the point of hurting them. Crank the synth, crank the background vocal layering, etc.

Shackler's is SORELY underrated by fans, like Prostitute.
Both are in the Top-5 of new GN'R tracks (we've heard), with Prostitute being in the Top-5 of all GN'R songs imo.

I disagree with you on Shackler's. I like the song, but I don't love it. Now, Prostitute (Song 2) is great. Love that song. Not Top 5 of all-time by GN'R, but still a great song nonetheless.

Turns out Joe the Plumber was likely a McCain campaign plant. He has no plumber's license and as of 2006 his salary was $40,000. Yet there he was presenting the "average Joe" as making higher than $250,000.

I.R.S. and Shackler's are two of my favorite songs. i'd be really disappointed if they weren't on there.
i'm not a big fan of the blues. i got excited when i didn't see it at first. we can't be 100% sure, but it's probably 99% certain that that is the blues.
as for prostitute, it's very likely, but i'm not assuming anything about Song #2 at this point.
first single should be the title track IMO.
Agreed, I love I.R.S. and Shackler's too. Like tejas said earlier, and I'm kind of surprised he did as prior to that he seemed to be slamming the quality of the tracks we've heard illegally. We all have our own opinions. Some don't care much for IRS, some Song 2, some Maddy, etc., etc. The complaints that we're hearing about songs we've illegally downloaded is ridiciulous, stop it now. And then you complain the songs aren't good enough, well that's YOUR opinion. It's no more correct than my opinion or Joe Blow on the street. Then there's the "well these songs have been played live for seven years". Okay, so you want to scrap those songs? So Don't Cry, KOHD, Back Off Bitch, for example, those songs shouldn't have appeared on UYI's?
No, I wasn't slamming the quality of the tracks from my own point of view. I'm slamming the notion that these are going to be well-received outside the fanbase. I myself love the leaks. But I realize that most casual people out there are going to find this stuff either mediocre or flat out bad. I hope I'm wrong on that.

Haha I'm happy with all of them except Rhiad and I'm hit and miss about ITW. Otherwise it's all good
That's pretty much how I feel about it. I love all of the new songs except Rhiad, ITW, and Shackler's. Those 3 are what I would call "I like but don't love" songs.

I think Better is still going to be the official first radio single.
I would be pretty happy with that. It is the only one I am confident will be a big hit.

I like Think About You. Anything Goes and You're Crazy are the only two on AFD that I'm not much of a fan of. I do like You're Crazy, but only the slowed down original version that later appeared on GN'R Lies. It's too bad that YCBM wasn't included on AFD as it was apparently close to being finished around the time they made AFD. There's a shitload of stuff on UYI I and II that is easily "filler" material. The worst of all...easily the worst song GN'R has ever made...is "My World." I don't even have it in my iTunes Library. I just pretend it's not even part of that album.

I wonder if this is going to be the first single. The only songs that have appeared listed so far have been the ones that have had some form of release ie SR and ITW. Now Scraped is listed presumabley because it's being prepared for some form of release?
Excellent point and question. I'd say you are probably right. Makes sense to me anyway.
