I really don't think Slash will rerecord anything. I can see him filling in or doing an Izzy thing, but I think Axl is set on releasing CD II. My biggest hope is that Ron is removed from all recordings. He really didn't want to be a part of them anyway...

Think we can sleep safe on Ron. Axl did not appear to be interested after the first go arounds. Doesn't bode well for his material being used over Bucket.

I don't mind some Ron though, his work on CD and Catcher was stellar I thought. Though most probably won't agree on the latter.

...And Shackler's too.

My friend recently showed me this band.

I listened to the Black Crowes Croweology over the weekend. GnR could easily do something like that. Not even covering the old hits, just an epic acoustic album, laid back & slower, similar to an extended version of Lies 4 acoustic tracks.

However as Polluxlm said, Axl being Axl I'm afraid that might take a while.

Or even a 4 track ep to go along with a mini tour would get my approval.

See I don't know why Axl couldn't just release singles or an EP of the best cuts of the vault material as a digital download on iTunes. Even an acoustic studio or live set for a cheap price, people would buy. Especially when it comes down to the fact that the general public don't buy albums anymore. Probably still problems with the label that won't let him go 100% independent with his own Black Frog.

Fan made no doubt.

A studio version of Oh My God was released 16 years ago now, I can't believe some people on the forums are still convinced that it's going to be on a new album. It's as bad as calling "Sympathy for the Devil" a demo at this point.

Who here seemed convinced it was gonna be on a new album? Or did you just mean in general on the forums? No one said they expected it on a new album. To clarify, yes I'd like a whole album full of "Oh My God"-esque sounding tunes, in the same vein as but of course not the same song as "Oh My God," a studio version of which was obviously already released 16 years ago. I've never once considered it a demo. It was as real to me then as it is now. It was the major selling point (besides Arnold) for me seeing End of Days when it came out. Bought the soundtrack. It was the start of a comeback that never got to come. Still love the tune. Still want more like it.

Same here man!

She has gone down hill and tries to hard to be like Amy Lee. Taylor is doing her own thing and killing it.

I don't see that at all. Amy is very much a product of her era. She's very reminiscent of that early 2000's rock scene, and has stayed there.

Lzzy to me is pretty much a tribute to her generation. She seems very cross-influenced by the 80's glam metal scene crossed with the 90's grunge scene, with alot of AOR-melodic rock influence through in.

To me Lzzy Hale is like her generation's Lita Ford. Taylor to me has more in common with a Joan Jett.

I used to rate her, but she seems to have gone down hill. These days she looks like she needs a good wash or something.... 10 14

The trashier/grungier she gets, the more I like her.

I like Lzzy from just seeing what she exudes. Lzzy to me is the kind of girl you write the song "Estranged" about. Taylor Momsen is the kind of girl you write "Anything Goes" about. Both are good, but for me... i'll take the Estranged girl anyday of the week.

Hit the nail right on the head. cool

What about a movie based of the comics where DC and Marvel had the Avengers and Justice League team up and fight in each others universe??

Anything is possible. If the studios agree, It could happen one day. Probably when super hero movies aren't making enough money as they are now.
