What I am saying is that there are alternate versions of Chinese Democracy that were circulated before the album release. These alternate versions contain different songs - at least two that weren't on the locker leaks -, mixes and tracklists.

That sounds like the best lead we have. Certainly one that needs following up.

Just hoping something comes to fruition. It sounds like people know people who have tracks, or know people that know people. As someone else pointed out, those who have the tracks probably couldn’t give two shits about them. I’m sure with a concerted push in the right direction some music could be forthcoming

Well I’ll be happier than a pig in bucket of shit if anything comes of this. I genuinely don’t think anything will though, but I retain a glimmer of hope that the planets could align.

As the GNR camp and various insiders said years ago...the fans are pond scum and don't deserve an album.
Sad but true. They’ve no objection to taking our cash though!

I have them in an ‘enhanced’ version by that guy who’s amazing at doing that with GnR stuff.
I was thinking along the same lines: If we can get the tracks in lossless FLAC or similar quality they can be remastered.
Might be worth a crowdfunding effort! ?
I’m late to the party with this AI stuff. Is it the case that only existing vocals can be altered, or can the AI ‘invent’ songs using th artist’s voice? I know there’s been lots of excitement amongst Oasis fans with a ‘lost’ 90’s album surfacing courtesy of AI, but would the lyrics/vocals have been AI generated?

@sp1at
Any updates buddy?

It's probably nothing, but I don't think they would do this to promote a tour that's not in the US.
If there is anything to be announced along with this, I imagine we would hear by Sunday.
I don't think they did this to promote a tour or merch, there has to be a reason.
Despite my better judgement, I have a glimmer of hope for an album and US tour announcement off the back of this random promotion.
#39 Re: Guns N' Roses » Rolling Stone: The Search for Guns N’ Roses’ Lost Masterpiece » 158 weeks ago
There has just always been a divide between the band and the fans. Times changed, and when pushed, Axl/Guns never quite gave enough, so the fans pushed further and it resulted in the history we have now.
Managers have pushed in the past, but Axl ultimately went with family. It is what it is.
We have the reunion now, but that, and many things, could have happened earlier.
Any more rumblings re new music buddy?

A poster on mygnr has spoken with a higher up at Spotify and says the search results definitely mean something is cooking. Anyone know how far in advance acts upload songs/metadata info to streaming services? Can’t help but think a release has to be close rather than months away based on what Spotify is doing
