It was England, mate. Always England..
Apparently Wales voted out as well, but yes the little Englanders have well and truly spoken.

I've also seen a tweet this morning, not sure how accurate it is, that says Britain has already lost more money in the last 12 hours than it will ever save from not paying in to the eu.

Unreal.
We knew the £350 million figure was a myth but the last votes hadn't even been counted at this point.

I think Cameron will be ok. He was only voted in again last year and I don't think it was because he promised to hold a referendum.
Shows what I know
What a mess. He should call another general election as a last fuck you, I'd support that.

Well done UK, I doubt throughout history there'll be many examples of a country fucking itself quite so thoroughly quite so quickly.

Worth mentioning on the last BBC debate, one of the panelists brought up the fact that LEAVE despite wanting to change the rules have never promised to actually decrease immigration, despite campaigning about it....
Team Boris dodged the question. Then tried to say it was more about controlling who immigrates here, rather than the numbers. Anyway, luckily voters have a short memory... especially in debates.
What seems to have been dodged throughout this whole thing and I've not seen explained is who the Leave campaign are?
Obviously I know a lot of the faces but it's a collection of politicians from various parties coming together. It's all well and good saying what they will or won't do if we leave but they aren't the government or one political party, they can actually do fuck all. They're more than happy to lead us down this cul de sac but have no say or responsibility (as far as I can tell) once we get there.

How many knockout games have England won at the Euros, baring the penalty shoot out against Spain at Euro 96?
Give me an example of when something happened, except for the time that it happened.
sounds fair.
Our track record in Euros is pretty poor to be fair, however I see no reason to differentiate between Euros and World Cup. It's all knock out tournament football. Our track record against 'lesser' nations at knock out time is pretty good, it's when we meet a team with a bit of history or reputation we struggle.
Since 1990 we've beaten the following teams in knock out games.
Belgium, Cameroon, Spain, Denmark and Ecuador
And been eliminated in knock out games by the following teams
Germany, Germany, Argentina, Brazil, Portugal, Portugal, Germany, Italy
More worryingly we've not won a knock out game for 10 years.

The Independents final poll prior to voting day has apparently come out with a healthy lead for remain. Hope it's right.

You can all fuck off.

Haha! That's the creeping confidence I've been waiting for.. C'mon Iceland!
Not at all
but we've got to play someone and if you look at the other teams in our side of the draw it could be a lot worse.
Call it arrogance if you want but if Iceland knock England out of the Euros it will be one of the biggest international upsets of all time.
