I heard Kris Roe did some mixing on Shacklers.

Why? His second and third albums are some of the best rap albums ever recorded.
While his second album was good, on the whole I'll have to disagree with your statement. The Marshall Mathers LP was a good album, but not as strong as The Slim Shady LP. And even better were his earlier works with Rawkus.

I'll drink some free Dr. Pepper, and I'll be a prick about it. I'll walk down the busiest sidewalk or park I can find while drinking it. I'll get in peoples faces, like "Hey, you see this fuckin' Dr. Pepper? You can fuckin think Axl Rose, buddy."
It'll be the best Dr. Pepper you can imagine. The only way it would be any better is if I could redeem a Vanilla Dr. Pepper. That would be the cat's ass.

it was real but I think it was a very early 99 version....great song and I am glad it made it.
Agreed. I hope Brian May's still on the track too.

Hong Kong, 08/14/02.
The Vegas '01 show posters featured my avatar, I think.
On 08/14, at the tour opener in China, Axl proved the cover art was indeed ready.
"Before [GNR] played [CD], [Axl] told a little anecdote why the new album is called 'Chinese Democracy'. He said it was because he saw a photo taken in Hong Kong, which he's using as the new album cover. And then he showed it on the video screens, and it was a black and white picture of a bicycle with a basket, and in the wall behind it, someone had grafittied 'Guns N' Roses'!!! He said 'I didn't paint that myself, so one of you motherfuckers out there must have did it!'" (Fan review)
"At one point, that was going to be the cover of the record - I'm not sure if it's now. This one guy... he was my keyboard tech at the time... Michael... and I mean he was in China at the time and he saw that and took a picture and showed it to Axl." (Dizzy, Metal Sludge, 01/29/06)

Oh, that makes sense. I don't know how I never heard that story.
I think the "tinkering" had alot to do with it.
For example, the way CD sounded on the Best Buy leaks and the 06 tour was quite a bit different from the 01/02 tour versions. The Blues is another example and honestly who knows what else was done during the 02-04 period that changed/delayed the album.
CD got quite "bigger" and more "in your face". Let's hope there was some more tinkering done to 'The Blues', or 'Street Of Dreams', or whatever the hell you want to call it. I love the f out of the song, but the production is a little dated. It needs bigger guitars, and a less MIDI sounding piano.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

Or that Obama isn't half white and raised by a white mother and white grandparents while his black father ditched him.
Karma

Are you insinuating I delete posts that I don't agree with? Hell, the entire thread is essentially "anti- McCain".
I kid I kid. A little dog a little joke.
PS- "This entire thread" makes it sound like it's a hot thread slamming McCain. There's like 5 posts in this bitch:D

That's great. I love the hearsay quoted as fact. I love "He is not Christian, and this is a Christian Nation." Reeaalllyyy? A.) Yes he is Christian, and B.) Um, freedom of religion? Another favorite is "He thinks that white people are trash, and we are not." Wow, with that statement you'd think that white people are the ones that have been persecuted under a black majority...
