While I do not wish that Better flops.  You can't dismiss the possibility that it could flop.

In a world where the Jonas Brothers can sale a half million records in a week I have to agree that the possibility cannnot be dismissed BUT I do honestly doubt it.  Much stronger song than 99% of the crap released currently.

That's the thing, almost EVERYONE I've played it for (old school fans, younger fans, even non-fans) loves this song.  This will push a few albums if it becomes the next single by itself.

It won't flop.  My "old school" GNR friends usually only like two songs on the album, IRS and Better.

Better would be the PERFECT follow up.  Follow it up with Street of Dreams.

sic, that is one of the best posts I have ever read in a decade on the forums!

The content is very sobering, enlightening and most importantly...true.

Axl had a lineup in 2001 that could have been a triumph even in the face of former greatness that was the "real" GNR.

He then had chances to build the buzz/hype into an honorable success in 2002 and 2006.  Once again opportunities were pissed away.

Now we are left with the reality that Chinese Democracy won't hit the rock world with a roar but a mere forgettable whisper.

Axl's best chance at regaining greatness once again is to look to the past and reunite with those that made Guns N Roses one of, if not THE, greatest rock n roll bands of all time.

The monkey is off his back now in terms of Chinese Democracy.  Time to let it run its course and move on.

#398 Re: The Sunset Strip » KISS' New Studio Album » 913 weeks ago

Revenge was great but Psycho Circus was decent.  The problem was the small tracklist and the dictatorship of Paul and Gene turning away really good songs by Ace and Peter.  An example is "In Your Face" by Ace, much better than the "Into the Void" track that made the album.

Personally I'd prefer another Rock N Roll Over type album...this was Kiss at their very best.

1. The 'leaks' you have are from the GnR camp, indirectly/ The scene has nothing to do with them/ They passed some songs on to a few people who are in touch with them and they edited them in different ways, distributing through P2P/

2. The GnR fans badmouthing the scene (again) for these leaks from the GnR camp shows to what levels of stupidity one can sink after waiting so long for an average album with average songs/ Yeah suck me for my opinion/

3. Those 'cleaned' versions, is not how they will sound like, be it certain sounds, be it the way that ass 'cleaned' things, killing the dynamics in the process because imsorry is an amateur who pretends he's a pro in his bedroom/ He is playing the GnR fanbase like he did so many times before/ He is persona non grata in the scene (meaning not wanted)/ So don't associate us with prankers like him/

4. The album will leak within 5 days/ Not that we care about GnR fans, because you have been dickheads against the people who for years now provided you with new GnR music while Axl refused to/ We do it because that's how we roll/ Everything for free/

If you were part of the real "scene" you'd know how lame this post is.

People like imsorry are fans trying to do nothing more than enjoy the music with other fans.

People like you talk loud but say nothing.

Go back to playing with your Magic Gathering buddies.

those, except for Ides of March I believe, were all titles that were never mentioned by the band....most of them sound like made up names by journalists or fans....Kerrang mentioned most of those and they are a complete piece of shit metal rag...If the track name doesn't come from a bandmember or someone actually working on the project, I wouldn't believe it.:headbang:

They were mentioned in the August 21st, 1999 issue of Kerrang.  I had seen Something Always somewhere else as well but I don't recall where.
I am skeptical as well how many are legit.  I would also believe some were scrapped or changed in title and/or reworked into a new song.
