The soundtrack leaked. It kicks ass! The last song has skips in it. Must have come from a scratched CD. Hopefully someone will get a high quality version of that song because it's 16 minutes long and makes it around halfway through before it goes all to hell with the skipping.

You are missing out on two of the top 5 best movies ever (IMHO). You will enjoy the hell out of them, I just know it.
I don't know if I will double dip on this. I paid $60 for the trilogy box set a couple years ago. Amazon has the Blu-ray set for $89 I think. That is a crapload.

Favorite part: shoots the bus driver without looking then does this creepy little shuffle as he walks away and looks back towards the bus, almost as if he's ashamed of what he just did but all the while thinking, "nope, I really don't give a fuck!" LMFAO, it's classic. And that head tilt when he shoots the bank manager, also classic. Brilliant stuff.

Higher quality version of the Prologue. A guy that got the Batman Begins Blu-ray around a week and a half early was able to film it while watching it on his TV, so it's still a bootleg but much better than the theatrical ones that were with I Am Legend in IMAX. I helped him crop the video and upload it:

Hopefully once the BB Blu-ray comes out, we will be able to have a 1080p rip of this puppy. The guy told me it looked amazing on his TV. I asked him to check the bitrate on his PS3 and it was running from 20-40 Mbps, which is excellent. BB was ported over from HD DVD at around 12-15 Mbps, so TDK on Blu-ray should be absolutely incredible.

Yeah tejastech08 I guess the PG-13 rating makes huge sense forma marketing perspective. I was just under the impression they wanted ot do an R rated film.
I was pissed off yesterday listening to Maxim Radio. They were calling all the hype and prasie for Leger fake. Just hypeing up a dead guys last performance to sell the movie. Calling the idea of Oscar talk a pitty vote. Stretch is a fucking idiot. Obviously they have no clue that there was hype about his performance well before he died. Obviously they haven't seen any of the spots. Just a stupid conversation. Typical Maxim Radio though.
Fuck those people. Every single review has honestly described both the movie and Ledger. Batman Begins was great, my favorite movie ever, but the climax with the microwave emitter was not a very good plot element. It sounds like TDK just has a stronger plot device to end the movie. The first hour of Begins is incredible, but it sounds like the entire 2.5 hours of TDK fits that description. More consistent. Improvements in the fight scenes (camera is further away so the audience can see what the hell is going on), Rachel Dawes is now played by a great actress instead of a crappy one, and the acting is top notch from everyone involved. Yes, he did go out on top. He's going to become a legend frozen in time because of this unfortunately. The James Dean of the 2000's.
I would highly recommend you go see this movie in the theater. The cinematography on it looks incredible. Begins was nominated for an Oscar for Cinematography and I think the footage so far from TDK looks even better as far as the visual style. They're using a blue filter on the cameras instead of the brown filter like they did with Begins. It really is going to look great on the big screen and there will be some stunning, iconic shots of both Batman and the Joker.
I gotta confess I gave up on the Batman films back in the day when Penguin was in it and he had the army of penguins marching with bombs or something on their backs :sick:
I turned my back so much in disgust that I never even saw BB. But after hearing everything about TDK I think I might have to back and get that out and watch it.
Do you know if there is much of the storyline continued, that you would miss out on if you hadn't seen BB? I will still watch BB, but I was just curious.
Yes I think I will have to see it in all it's glory at the cinema. Besides, I gotta support Heath being a fellow Aussie from Perth.

Batman Begins is a great movie. He doesn't become Batman until around an hour into the movie. The biggest continuity between Batman Begins and TDK is that all the major characters are back: Bruce, Alfred, Lucious Fox, Commissioner Gordon (who is just a lowly cop during Begins and actually gets promoted to Lieutenant at the very end of the film) and Rachel Dawes (Bruce's lifelong friend and he has a huge crush on her of course...she does on him as well). Nolan's movies have a very different style from the other Batman films. The cast is excellent. It includes Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman, Gary Oldman, Liam Neeson, Tom Wilkinson, and Cillian Murphy. Katie Holmes (TERRIBLE actress) plays Rachel Dawes. She was replaced by Maggie Gyllenhaal in TDK for the role of Rachel. The final scene of Begins is the perfect setup for TDK. It is what has been fueling hype for this movie for 3 years.

Every single review I've seen so far has said it's better than Begins. Every. Single. One. That is crazy because Begins was a fucking great movie. Even a guy from CHUD who hated Begins said he thought TDK was "okay to good" and "a big improvement over Begins." Ledger's Joker is getting unbelievable praise. Honestly, the word of mouth just surrounding him is going to make this thing huge at the box office. MovieTickets.com said that TDK has sold 8 times more tickets than Spidey 3 did with 21 days until the release date. That is crazy shit. I don't think it will beat Spidey's opening weekend, but it damn well could beat its opening day. The fanboy rush on this movie is going to be unbelievable, like Star Wars level. A big opening with word of mouth spreading like wildfire especially about Ledger means that this movie is going to be gigantic at the box office. Possibly $350 million or higher in North America. WB better take good fucking care of his daughter and his other family. They are going to be making huge profits from his incredible, legendary performance plus the unthinkable real life tragedy.
