I missed out on getting to see the TDK trailer with Iron Man. I walked into the show a little late, like 5 minutes after the trailers had started. But after the IM movie was over, I heard a shitload of people talking about TDK so it makes me wonder if they showed it with it. I've read reports online and it sounds like it's hit or miss whether it's with Iron Man or not since they are rival companies (Marvel and DC) so it's not attached like it was with I Am Legend (both made by Warner Bros.) for the other trailer. I cannot wait to see some of those money shots of Batman jumping off buildings and flying through the air on the big screen. They look amazing in the high def versions compared to that crappy bootleg, but I'm sure they are even more breathtaking on the big screen. July 18th can't get here fast enough!

Okay, this movie has to be good. If it sucks, I'll start a riot in the movie theater.
As they say in Dazed and Confused, "Just go for it man." 
Methinks James needs to watch Batman Begins so he can get an idea of what he's in for with TDK.

Damn, this movie just looks amazing!
Even the damn logo is incredible. Forms a Bat symbol out of smoke. I did not notice this when I saw the prologue in December. I thought it was just a cloud of smoke but as usual with Nolan there was a pretty badass reason behind using the smoke.

FUCKING INCREDIBLE. I think this is the mob's money that he steals at the beginning of the movie. Dude doesn't give a shit about money, just wants to watch the world burn!

That part where he comes up to Rachel and says, "Hello, beautiful..." and then fixes his hair. LOL, gotta love his vanity when he looks like total shit! And of course the "you look nervous" line is insanely creepy. The "Here...we......GO!" part is badass because of how slowly he's creeping down the street as he pulls out that knife. That is one of the creepiest things I've seen in a trailer. You gotta love the vocal changes throughout, like the line where he's talking about how Gotham deserves a better class of criminal...change voice..."and I'm gonna give it to 'em!" Effing awesome. One part that is difficult to see in the trailer but looks hilarious is when he pushes someone (possibly Rachel Dawes?) off a building. He's laughing and has this "oops" look on his face. Gotta love that! hahahaha
Dent looks great as well and of course Bruce's struggles should be compelling to watch, both with Rachel and the Joker (which are tied together by the fact that his main motivation for trying to be with Rachel is that he's losing his grip on reality due to the Joker's actions...and he's questioning how the hell he can avoid breaking that ONE rule that he swears he'll never break).

So the Ledger-less promotion has already started. He's a major character, yet isn't worthy of the latest cover art coming out. Not a smart move in my opinion. If the performance is as good as anticipated, he should not be downplayed.
James, actually that poster is ALL-Joker, just without showing him. Who do you think burned that symbol into the building? Who do you think is saying "Welcome to a world without rules?" In fact, one of the virals from Halloween last year says "The only sensible way to live in this world is without rules." It's all about the Joker baby! Meanwhile, the new trailer LEAKED!

Goverment control, political correctness, these values of the Democratic party all go against the image of rock n' roll. C'mon, even a Democrat can admit that all things considered, they're the "pussies." Bleeding heart and all.
I'm really just joshing ya. The numbers show that it's not that far off between the parties. All it means is that people can like different kinds of music and have different politics. I'm sure there are plenty off country fans out there who vote Democrat. But statistically, more men vote Republican than Democrat, so it would make sense that male rock fans have a slight favor towards Republican candidates. I'm sure if they did a study on female rock fans it would go Democrat.
I'm not a Democrat. I just hate the right wing, which oh by the way has hijacked the Republican Party.

You expect it to be a trainwreck, but it's not.
That statement is spot on. It really describes what we've heard so far, and it looks like the unheard tracks follow a similar path. The CD songs are a mish mash of several genres of music, and the quality of the material isn't trainwreck status because of the extreme talent on the songs.
Looks like we've moved one small step closer to the promised land.
I agree, it's not a trainwreck. But it's not mindblowing either. The song "Chinese Democracy" is a good example of this. Some of it IS mindblowing, the intro and Axl's kickass screams for instance. The intro is amazing -- tons of tension building and then those amazing riffs! But most of the song sounds like there's too many damn layers, etc. As someone once said, it's like Appetite on steroids, which is not necessarily a good thing. Madagascar for instance has some awesome guitar work on the demo and by the end of it Axl kicks ass but his vocals at the beginning suck (hopefully he's re-done them once it officially gets released). And we've all heard the 2007 butchered demo of "Better" with the synths on steroids crap where the guitars are drowned out through half the song. I think it could end up being a very good album and I hope Axl has some awesome shit up his sleeve that we haven't heard, but the stuff we have heard is very good yet inconsistent.
