this is, together with existing 2001/2 live versions, a good example of what RTB was trying to do - he was hired, because the previous Beavan mixes were considered somewhat too "modern" and they needed to make the stuff more "classic".
which is, at least for me, a shame - because what Beavan did with Marilyn Manson just a few years ago (he produced Portrait, Antichrist Superstar and Mechanical Animals, and especially the latter two of them have MASSIVELY great sound). I'd still take ANY Beavan mix before ANYTHING else from RTB or later time.

yes, I also think they spoiled The Blues with the album version. those old live versions sounded very... intimate... hard to explain as I'm not a native English speaker, haha. the album version sounds sterile, can't tell why, maybe it's just the mix.

depends on how much shit from other "traders of unreleased stuff" he'll get now. I'd imagine that lawyer threats could discourage anyone from further actions.

now THAT was unexpected. indeed, they played a part of the "unreleased" ITW remix.
is it now safe to assume that the last missing remix was Sorry (remember, we know Brain made 6 remixes and we have 5 of them either full or at least snippets, but we don't know what was the sixth song), or it was just a one-off cover version?
strange times.
but actually... I kind of like this performance. maybe not the remixes themselves, but the situation that some GNR members or ex-members play something publicly. nice!
