Bit dissappointed by last night. Ep 8 has usually been very strong the last couple of seasons but was all a bit none eventful really. The first half of this season was really good but the second has overall felt more like filler, which from Ataris post i'm guessing is because that is exactly what it is.

Gotta assume they're praying for Georges next book to drop before the next season. They need some more source material.

When you consider the relative country sizes and populations of NI with the other teams in their group any points at all could be considered a major acheivement.

It's do or die against Ukraine I think. The worry is you looked quite toothless in attack v Poland, will need to create more to get the win.

It will be interesting to see if this translates to GNR shows. He's been putting in the performances of his life in recent weeks and coming out bang on time. No excuse not to do that with GNR now. He's set a dangerous prescedent for himself.

Tragic, sick of living in a world where this is becoming normal.

Interesting change of language used during the day. It's gone from a mass shooting to an act of terrorism, religion has the monopoly on terrorism it would seem.

Also I do wonder how many more of these must happen before America says enough is enough regarding accessability to guns. Is the right to bear arms seriously so important that biannual massacres of innocent children, families, partying adults etc is an acceptable consequence?

Not sure you'll beat Poland, they're a good side. A point would be a good result and then go all out for a win against Ukraine. Anything against Germany is a bonus.

I'm voting stay. Yet to hear a tangible let alone significant benefit to my own circumstances by leaving.

The 'bigger' picture is so complicated most so called experts can't agree and no leave campaigner can put their hand on their heart and say they know the true fallout if we leave.

I suspect we'd be fine if we left, day to day life would likely be much the same but better off? Unlikely. Therefore why leave?

Yep same old from England. We never start well in tournaments, our 3 best tournaments (66, 90, 96) all started with draws so it's not the end of the world. Problem is if we can't beat a Russian side that poor, however well we played, it doesn't bode well for the rest of the tournament.

No idea why Vardy never came on. I can understand starting with Kane but he couldn't get in the game and with 20/25 mins left it was begging for Vardys pace in behind the ageing centre backs. Poor call from Hodgeson.

The more I see of Sterling the less impressed I am, lots of pace but no end product.

I've edited the title as it was completely misleading.

Good old itv, taking 20 mins of Englands pre match build up to talk about Wales.

Always a few idiots who spoil it for everyone else, expulsion from the comp and removal of hosting rights is a bit knee jerk though. Arrest the offenders and ban them, simple.

In fairness England fans haven't been involved in any real trouble since France 98. Must be something about the french that brings it out in us 16
