His press conference was a disaster....but I would understand if none of this was true...why he'd be so pissed....
But it was still a disaster...and he'd better get used to it. The ever so slight majority of this country utterly despises this man.
Trump endears himself to nobody outside of who already backs him.

It is a waste of time. On a day to day basis, you just gotta enjoy you're life & try to realize what little impact politics may have. On the flip side, there's raising & lowering of taxes (and yes insurance rates recently), the improving/crashing economy and other things, leading to job prospects & your pay/quality of life. Social issues, which I agree Flagg minds little to, are pretty irrelevant, and no Obama didn't want to 'take anyones guns away'.
That said tho, it does get frustrating. As bad as it may be to see "I won't give Trump a chance" on the flip side I hate reading on FB about Obama is the worst President ever? I just read someone post "History won't be kind to Obama" along the lines of he's been terrible. It was a friend of a friend so I didn't respond but I just feel like saying "Are you aware he followed the worst President of possibly our lifetime?"
I'll say it again, and you can bring this up in 4-8 years. Obama will be remembered as a "Great" President. Prolly better than Bill Clinton.
He was Jackie Robinson.

I have to hear people like Senator Mitch McConnell say that Democrats need to treat the new president with the respect that he treated Obama with for the last eight years. Fucking absurd!
And so far he shitting all over a lot of the things that I care about. He's divisive and angry.
I began reading a book about Nixon recently, it sounds like Donald Trump part one. Man full of hate and bluster. Having only cravings for power and attention and this miss guided notion that you were gods pick to do it all.
I loathe the celebrity warship in this country. He inherited a fortune from his father and Americans just slobber all over that shit. The combination of money and fame in this country is preferred substitute for substance.
It's not that I don't want to...I'm looking for a glimmer of hope anywhere...I already waste enough energy following politics...it's such a frustrating thing because it doesn't ever really satisfy you. I guess that's why you're never satiated and end up posting hundreds of times in the GNREVO thread.
