I seen this this morning and clicked "like" after reading the first line, then felt like retracting when I read the rest lol.

"Lethargic whiny lil bitches who will probably never ever get it cause their heads are decades into the last century and buried up someone's ass."

Shit like this is really starting to grate on me now, its like they really believe that this version of GNR are the pioneers of the legacy or something.
Yeah man, they have really blazed a trail of glory over the years, how can anyone hark back to the old band when the new line ups have done so much carve out their own idenity and been so pivotal in extending GNRs artistic legacy.

Aye Fernando, I get it too.

Right still awake despite highjacking the thread and had no alcohol for 2 hours (its shite)... but on topic:

You know what I've just realised - reading everything from Axl, Slash, Duff, Steven, Matt, Dizzy, Tommy, DJ, Bumblefoot have said over the last few months....

This RIRHOF thing... from all their language, this event, this potential gathering of these massive ego's... they seem to consider this more important than anything they've done since GNR fell apart back in the mid 90's... they all seem to be more focused on it then they ever where on anything post 93....

Its weird, they all seem so excited by it that its giving me the impression that they have been kidding themselves on the last 15 years, trying to leave the past behind and do seperate things... I dunno man.. it seems like they have just been trying to fill the void left bythe disintegration of Guns N'Roses.

Its like this upcoming collision of egos is more important than Chinese Democracy or Velvet Revolver or whatever... they all seem so excited about it, its really putting those post GNR efforts in the shade.

The original GNR coming together for one night is bigger to them than anything they have done since it fell apart, its a strange turn of events, at least in my drunken mind hmm

Now I'm sobering up, time for bed.

Smell yeez later!

#465 Re: Guns N' Roses » I want a reunion » 765 weeks ago

haha I'll raise a glass to you and all the distant Evo Crew!

I cant wait, these guys rock my world, they are incredible. Last time I seen them was in a hall no bigger than an average sized pub, it was so loud the first notes deafened me and the rest of the show went by in an orgasmic muffled blur.

This time they have a whole theatre to accomodate them and their even larger soundscapes reluctantly contained within their newest bodies of work... What a night lies ahead.

Fucking whisjy fucking vodka and hash, what a night.

Mr Axls boring a fuck, he's done nothing in 20 years, "waaaaah Slash is a cancer, he peed the bed"... what yhe fuck happened to you, where is your FIRE?!

Fuck the pouting pretentious millionaire cry babies ... try smacking the world upside the head with your blood sweat guts and heart whilst holding down a nine to five  manual labour to just keep a roof over your head,  while you wage sonic war and rampage across the planet with nothing but your ever evolving art to propel you.

Come with me on Tuesday, the Sons Of Oden, the glorious, the unrepenting, the unyeilding, the Masters Of War, the mighty motherfucking Amon Amarth are here and they have come to show no mercy.

Come with me.

They are here 9

I like DJs enthusiasm, but cant take him seriously I've been reading shit like this since 2000. Its not his fault, I'm sure he's full of hopes and dreams for GNR, but so were lots of guys before him hmm

Reading this barmy talk of Axl touring to fund the next album... fund what? He had 3 albums in 2002, he's got his own studio, he's got everyone he'll ever need on his payroll already, and also the kind of financial clout that all of us can only dream about... its bollocks imo, Axl hasnt released a new album or went to work on a new album because he just hasnt wanted to.

Anybody got a idea how many albums past and present members of GNR have released since 1993, it would be interesting to see how they all compare with each other.
I'm guessing Buckethead would be at the top of the chart since he churns out new albums religiously, but how do the rest fare?

#468 Re: Guns N' Roses » Guns N' Roses Vinyl LPs » 765 weeks ago

I've seen them going for about £15 - £20, so yep that sounds about right in US$
You'd probably get one dirt cheap at a record fair, dunno if you have them over there, its when sellers get together and have like a car boot sale except its music they sell, vinyl mostly. Here they are advertised in the local press the week before and they put up signs, I think its the same people who come every few months, but anyone can go down and set up a table on the day.
Its a lottery if you find one but theres a high chance, lots of people sell their old vinyl collections to these people and thats where they get all their stock.
