Said it before but the media needs some sort of reset. Its time to go back to actually covering the news as neutral observers.....not pushing agendas and telling us how much they hate specific people and love another and you're a worthless piece of trash if you disagree with them.

Controlling the media is a dictatorship thing, and I don't think it should be cheered.

I agree that under normal conditions it is a step towards a dictatorship but IMO what our country has just endured isn't anything remotely resembling normal conditions. The major media outlets have been exposed to a degree. We may even be in the opening phase of a backlash.

If there's a positive to take from that meeting, it's that he actually name dropped specific individuals and outlets. It would be much more disturbing if he was against all media in general. If his meeting yesterday were to become a huge media story, there will be no controversy because many people agree with the basic overall point. I wouldn't label them all as liars either but they were definitely pushing an agenda.

The look on the faces of all those "experts" on CNN and the others on election night was priceless. YOu knew he had won even before the polls closed in half the country. They went from being cocky to being near tears within hours. That's not how the media is supposed to cover an election.

I don't know a lot about the guy but isn't he one of the clowns that pushed for the UK to leave the EU but then had not even the slightest clue what should be done after the vote? If so..... he definitely needs to exit stage left.

Its also possible that Trump made the statement as part of a political strategy and playing mind games. I doubt he seriously thought they would take him up on the suggestion. If he was being serious, its time he start listening to his advisers.

Such tactics happens continuously in politics. Fuck...we just endured it for months straight. A tidal wave of emails surface showing Hillary and the DNC mocking the poor people who vote for them, admitting their own primaries were rigged, etc. and the media outlets shilling for them have the public focusing on Putin and grabbing pussy.

They have proven over the course of the campaign their ability to change the story being talked about, and continue to do so. "If you don't like what's being talked about, change the conversation." They're really excellent at manipulating people via this technique.

You're right and I just gave a perfect example of this above. DNC rigged its primary? Mocks their own voter base? Who gives a fuck. Trump grabbed a pussy! Take into consideration this was coming from people who cared nothing about Bill Clinton sticking cigars up the same pussies and being accused of sexual assaults.

This issue doesn't concern me. A person who cant figure out how to vote doesn't need to be voting. Period. Obviously it needs to be simplified instead of trying to complicate matters but you don't have to be a rocket scientist to vote.
