Played the ambient recording along (starting at the ~1:00 mark) with the YouTube The General intro and it matched perfectly. Of course, you can hear on the instrumental intro how different it turns after the 1:33 mark. So, this clip is not only legit, but seems like there's a lot more going on in the actual song after what we hear in this shitty recording.

Can't understand any lyrics, but sounds like some very high pitched Axl not unlike If The World chorus. But with some low register layer too.
The Buckethead riff (90% sure it's Bucket there) sounds indeed kinda like Estranged riff in a certain way. Looks like at the very ending we would get another round of that riff, maybe a bit different.
I can't help it. It is indeed a shitty recording. But I got excited. Now this is something new for real.

I really think Brain's drums on OMG sounded fucking huge. Specially at the ending.

I knew about that. Didnt know the lyrics, but I always heard him singing (thought it was "dont do this to me"). The RIR 2001 version has it too, tho it's pretty hard to hear.

Pretty remarkable to finally see/hear the HOB pro-shot after all these years. I miss that band, and particularly that Axl.
It’s up on YouTube... for now.
Its gone already. I only managed to watch OMG, Riad (amazing!) and heard Silkworms.
I hope somebody upload the show again. Its too damn good to stay hidden after all these years.

So is that a Buckethead or a Bumblefoot solo on OMG? I can't tell - I'm leaning towards Bucket as there are a couple of his signature licks in there.
Both. Seems like first one is Bumble, and then Bucket througout the break.

They are the full tracks we've been hearing snippets of, remixed by the leaker. there is a link for both in gunsnfnroses forum.

How can anyone prefer Maddy demo to album version is beyond me.
I mean, it`s cool and everything but it`s not finished, it needed work, it`s disjointed.
Ill take underfinished than overdone finished any day
Like take the dont cry demo vs the album version.
The dont cry demo blows away the album version.
Ill take the rough cut of coma over the bloated version on UYI any day as well.
I hate the Don't Cry demo. Drums sounds cheese and the guitars sounds much like an amateur trying to play the song in a local garage fest. And don't get me started on Axls vocals during the solo.
I don't mind a stripped down version of Madagascar. As long as it sounds good. This doesnt. It replaced the best instrumental work to some lazy-ass rhythm guitar. The solo is still wonderful of course, but all the rest just sounds worse.
