Sorry, been busy
I wasn't sure how this interview was going to turn out
Anyway, at some point I'm just going to be posting a summary of interviews. It essentially says, they are working on brand new material, the desire is for an album, it's not CD material, it's been via email, they have not managed to record in a studio together so nothing is advanced as per recent interview, the emphasis for the tour does not seem to be 40th anniversary so far.
I'll do it at a later date

As of October 2021 Slash said they had written nothing new. Impossible that Axl could have come up with a whole album of new songs since then. I'll be impressed if there's even one genuinely new song released by this lineup.

Duff has written songs and presented them to GNR, Slash has done the same.

But the guys are going to use CD era songs like Monsters, Atlas, Seven, Thyme and all those or they are out of the new music for this yeat or an album?
There's been no mention of CD material. As of last year, it was a new album of new material. They were sending recordings.
However, the tagline for the new tour implies a possible anniversary tour.
There's no new news. I had one US date for October but it's been removed.

Regarding the drummer, Frank Ferrer is drummer for 2025. There is an open invitation for Matt Sorum to be a guest if and when he wants, apparently.
And there's nothing happening this month musically speaking. They're all at home having a break until after New Year. Duff played some charity gig last week

1. Atlas Shrugged
2. Monsters
3. Children of the Revolution (Cover)I am being hopeful here
It'd be better to have new material, then revisit this further down the road. Chinese Democracy is known as the album that took alot of time and money to make, and continuing to release songs from that era is just contuining that story. I think they need to move on and start a new chapter
