Some interesting ideas being floated around in this thread. The voter IQ test should have been enacted decades ago.
Gore appealed to the Florida Supreme Court
Blah. If Gore would have just won his own state, Florida wouldn't have even been a factor.
Even dipshits like Carter and Mondale could win their home states.
Not Gore.
Ha...yes...intelligence tests please!
I remember i had a republican woman teacher who was all about blowing politics out her ass in class as a means to pass the time.
It was a local election she was discussing on this particular day...and the person she was supporting had put forth a budget that decreased the local spending....local schools included.
Her candidate won...and with only two years of experience behind her, she ended up losing her job the next school year due to a budget reduction.
I realize this example is a little too black and white...but obviously she was blindly following this person because of his/her republican assocation...and no knolwedge of the issues.
I'm not so sure she would pass an intelligence test for voting...lol

Yep...everything seems normal in the newswire to me.

Not only did the guy live as an accused murderer, tried and found guilty in the court of public opinion, but he also had to live with the fact his dead girlfriend, whom he probably loved, was a lying slut who had an entirely different life.
Fucked up world we live in. It's amazing how many people we know and see on a day to day basis, that lives as someone else, that we'll never know until Crockett & Tubbs are on the case.
jesus...
ha...I'm so sick of this kind of crap...
fucked up story to be sure...but women get away with this all the time...
how do men get such a bad rap...women are only better at hiding it...
as far as i'm concerned...there are more women like this than any other kind...

My pole says Palin looks pretty damn good.
If these trends say Obama is still in the lead in a week, then it's a noticable change.
Hmm...which pole is that? I think that pole changes its form too often to be considered a fair reference point...
but I shall take it into consideration.

Can Axl still run for president?
#5118 Re: The Garden » Obama Blasts McCain on the Economy » 876 weeks ago
it's almost as though at some point, every politician voted for or against something...and u can dig up all the records you want...you'll find what u want if you look hard enough
#5119 Re: The Garden » Obama Blasts McCain on the Economy » 876 weeks ago
At least Obama's talking about issues again.
Jesus Christ it's about time, instead of rambling on about Bush III and lipstick on pigs.
Fine James...if you do indeed contend that Obama supported these things in the Senate...things that McCain, Bush...etc...established...
What are you saying?
The end result is the same...the same policy has been persued...Is it better when McCain does it?
#5120 Re: The Garden » Financial disaster? » 876 weeks ago
damn...this isn't good...I feel lucky that I was instilled with a little more common sense. The status symbol game is a whole monster in itself. The American Dream is a status symbol...
All your points are well taken...the dot coms, the policies of greenspan (who was asked to keep the machine running, and that's exactly what he did), the mortgage fire sale.
A bunch of American jobs sent to other countries. It is utterly absurd to think that high up execs did not have the foresite to see this coming. The corporation model gives these people free reign.
No skin off of their asses...while we all try to compensate over the next couple of years, they'll be using the dollar bill to light their cigars.
