VH is such a squandered band. I remember years ago Eddie was on Stern talking about how he cured his own cancer. He also, if I remember correctly, claimed smoking had nothing to do with it- it was caused by him holding guitar picks in his mouth. Seriously.
Yeah he said metal guitar picks in his mouth around all the recording gear and whatnot did it...guy's an idiot.

let me preface this by reminding everyone of how much i love Dj's playing in GNR
that being said. Is there a more copycat unoriginal musician in the history of the universe?
He is a caricature of Slash,Nikki Sixx and Tommy Lee rolled into one guy.
Tommy has Mayhem on his stomach, Dj has Havoc..same writing style coloring... tattoos,look rip Nikki, the hat,way he stands etc Slash
It's not a coincidence that they have those tattoos. The singer from Buckcherry has "Chaos" written on his stomach in the same style. Just a thing between friends I guess.

I have the Slash Epi...plays great. I really love the neck on it. My experience with them is great, but like Neemo said, every guitar is gonna feel and play different. I think your best bet is to go to Guitar Center, play all the guitars you're interested in,and just pick the one that feels and plays the best(to you).

I don't understand where this sense of entitlement comes from. He claims he needs to be paid for the shit he writes, but it's not like he went out like an actual journalist and uncovered some big story. Somebody supposedly gave him a memory card full of info out of the blue. Why does that deserve compensation?

It was kind of a good thing though because to push his CD, he would sell them and then let you meet him so he could sign them at his shows.
