I still think there's a double standard, especially when you start your argument with " it's a bit of a fine line".
But I don't want to flame or start a discussion, just trying to make people reflect on this..

People complain that Axl uses the old logo of a band he was in. Where are those people when Slash, Duff, Matt and a lot of other UNRELATED to GNR people, uses AXL'S VOICE on an ad to promote themselves?

Suggested a few songs and amongst them was Pretty Tied Up from Rio...
Amazing opening, great performance, a band almost at the top of the world... Shame it all fell down almost a year later...
Even with a not-that-good overall performance, a memorable concert!

I'm up for a reunion where they're genuine friends again, where Axl get's control of what ever psychology currently cripples him, and things return to the lies era style of productivity..
That, my friend, is NEVER going to happen. When there was concrete reunion plans it was on Axl terms and it almost happened, but back then VR was breaking down, Slash and Duff were both on drugs again and everything was a mess.
Things got sorted out and I'm kinda happy we didn't have a zombie band cash grab reunion tour.
By the way, remember Izzy referring to them as they were like zombies in stage in 93? I guess we'd had the same vibe.

In my hypothetical Axl keeps his behavior as it is (and will never change).
He wants the reunion on his terms and having the alumni under contracts. Good ones, but still contracts.

Axl has been strong, publicly, about being AGAINST a reunion and that it's all idea and interest of the alumni, especially Slash and Duff.
How would you change your perception of Axl and his struggle with CD if HE, Axl, was the one that really wanted a reunion in the first place?
