Which guitarist had the greater influence... creatively in the music, not the commercial success.

Paul Huge

-Half of the "Appetite For Destruction" Demos
-Some of "Lies" Demos
-Several of the "Use Your Illusion" Demos
-Most of "Chinese Democracy"

Slash

-Half of the "Appetite For Destruction" Demos
-Most of "Lies"
-3/4 of "Use Your Illusion" Demos

are you out of your mind? Where are Huge/Tobias writing credits prior to Chinese outside of Back Off Bitch? Come on....I'll give Tobias credit for Chinese. Prostitute, Catcher, and TWAT just happen to be my favorite songs on the record. But, to compare him to Slash is insane.

they should drop all the cover songs...especially the generic two KOHD and LALD.

after multiple listens, I am REALLY digging it. I'll give it a 9/10....best album since Achtung in my opinion.

It was 58 degrees in Atlanta today....and sunny....played some tennis....drank a few beers then dropped my brother and daughter off at Cirque Du Soleil...no, Robin wasn't there but rumor had it that he was going to do a guest spot and do an instrumental version of The General. The entire city of Atlanta was buzzing about it.

Dylan's KOHD will always be the pinnacle...a perfect song. Sympathy for the Devil is a perfect Rolling Stones song.....both studio recorded Gnr versions suck compared to the originals. I personally don't mind Gnr's versions but to say they are close to Dylan and the Stones is insane.

a cool version with alt lyrics by Dylan....rough quality but the chick playing the fiddle is hot. 16

Oh, and this article again proves that the ONLY band member in new Gnr that the media cares about is Tommy....not Buckethead, not Robin, none of them....just Tommy.

Only reason Bucket isn't getting any attention is because he obviously doesn't care and is content doing his own thing on a small scale.

James is right.

Not to mention the fact that, oh, I don't know, BUCKETHEAD DOESN'T TALK. Oh,  yeah, and he's NOT IN THE BAND ANYMORE!

Seriously, use your fucking brain for a second.

Ok, Buckethead has NEVER been a part of any band that the mainstream music press cares to write about.... AND, Bucket doesn't talk, feel better? One way or the other, outside of MTV in 2002, Bucket doesn't get alot of mainstream press. Please show me where I'm wrong....any new press about Praxis? Any recent interviews about Science Faction? nada........Tommy seems to get some sort of attention every few months or so...just the way it is. Why? Because The Replacements are still thought about and cared about in the industry.

I miss 1991....the last year of the rock star? Me thinks yes. sad

sure....not talking Bucket's talent as an artist, just talking a presence in the music industry and among the media.
