In fairness we never saw Stannis die.
#542 Re: Guns N' Roses » Update from Izzy Stradlin » 533 weeks ago
Disappointed to hear it but kudos for tackling the question head on. We all know what Izzy's like though he could still well show up, he may not. Clearly why Axl, Duff and Slash are the marketed three. I still bet my left nut Izzy plays a show with them within the next 12 months.
Also 'at this time' leaves the door wide open for anything. Plenty of wriggle room of he changes his mind.

I didn't post it here, due this site agreeing years ago not to post a Classic Rock magazine article years ago on this forum?
It's really just speculation though.
Why can't we post Classic Rock? Just curious.
News to me, post it here by all means.

Didn't he win a Grammy with VR?

Just finished this today.
Pretty fucked up story. Like Neemo I have trouble believing a relatively inconsequential murder in the middle of nowhere could be a conspiracy that travels as high up as it does (or at least appears). You begin to wonder if the judge is in on it, and a suggestion at the end the jury may have been compromised. I have a hard time swallowing it.
I think it's more likely two or three corrupt guys and the system closed ranks to protect them. Not necessarily because they're all in on it but because to even accept anything else would mean a shit storm like nothing they could comprehend or afford. Supporting the polices version of events was the only option.
Like one of Averys lawyers said near the end, in a way I hope he is guilty because the alternative is far worse.
Maybe it was just me but I thought Theresa's brother and ex boyfriend were definitely worth investigating further. Something definitely not right about those two.

I'll watch this. Lost most of my enthusiasm when I saw the interviewees though. Sounds like another VH1 BTM.

Bought myself a ps4 the other day.
Only got Fallout 4 at the moment but loving it so far!

Axl, Slash and Duff together has a value greater than any of them individually or as a double act.

Not one extra ticket gets sold for Duff McKagan either. Not fucking one. Duff = Dizzy
But that seems to be a point lost on all of you. Goddamn...

Period
I disagree.
Slash and Axl is the meal ticket no doubt and is the difference between playing half full arenas and stadiums. No question.
However does Axl and Slash AND Duff add further value, yes imo.
The promoters obviously think so too or his name wouldnt be all over the videos and press releases.
To the mainstream Duffs presence adds further legitimacy to the reunion and can be sold as such.

Dizzy Reed also doesn't sell tickets. Not one extra tickets gets sold with or without Dizzys presence at these shows. Therefore why waste advertising time.
