This interview seems fake and was probably conducted with the guy that had the fake Izzy twitter and was praised as the real deal even by celebrities like Steven Tyler.

I liked what I heard and I found some interesting info, like implying that indeed handing the name to Axl was during the renegotiation with Geffen and I completely agree with his points on Izzy being the heart and soul of GNR, Axl and Slash being the power and Duff and Steven being important to the "magic".
Also, about Sedona charlatans and Axl having a "Spaghetti Incident?" brain and the sneaky behavior of Doug Goldstein.
I've never heard or read any Alan Niven interview before and I had a completely different view on him. I kinda like the guy and he seems genuinely into music business for the right reasons.

Was at Rio 2001 so I was able to catch Chinese Democracy line-up in full: Axl, Tommy, Robin, Bucket and Tobias, Brain, Dizzy and Pitman.
Caught them again in 2010 with the current line up.
