Whats funny is they're reviewing games they've never played.

That really says alot about their brainwashing, doesn't it?

Well put young Gunslinger!  It is freaking amazing.  I'm really looking forward to Resident Evil 5 as well.  There are some excellent games out and coming now.

For you Madden fans I just read a review the other day about this year's game and it is being hailed as possibly the best one in the franchise's 20 yr history!!  Madden first appeared in 88 and this is the 20th anniversary so it looks like they are not pulling any punches on this one.

Just wanted to get everyone's opinion on this subject.  There is often much hate for the hoarders (people who "hoard" instead of openly share music not heard by most people) in various communities but the GNR community seems to intensify this hate times ten!!

On one hand we fans (or at least most of us) obviously would like all of the community to have ALL the music possible.  Keeping a great song to yourself with no chance of discussion, opinions, etc spoils part of the fun.

On the other hand once you let out a "rare" track it is no longer rare because it will spread through the communities like wildfire.  This within itself wouldn't be a bad thing except rarities are a bit like "underground currency".  Let's say that James or Neemo (this is only for example don't start pming them for things they DO NOT have!!!) had the long sought after "The General".  We would ALL be begging for it, right?  So why not share it openly?  It may be that they knew of another "hoarder" who has "Something Always".   The value that James and Neemo would have to "buy" this other track would be their own "hoarded" track.  If they were to give up this track to the community before getting the other sought after track it would now hold no trading value.

I am NOT condoning nor condemning this practice I'm simply looking for opinions.

#544 Re: The Sunset Strip » METALLICA Discussion » 932 weeks ago

I hope it will be good but Metallica hasn't blown me away since Justice.  The "Black Album" was obviousy very listenable and tolerable but not Metallica with balls, morelike Metallica "Healthy Choice" style, lol.

Everything since then has been subpar.  There have been moments but only here and there.  St Anger was the real low point so now they MUST knock it out of the park.  The songs that the reviewer said sound old school are promising but the other crap sounds like more Load/Re-load/St Anger/Insert-another-stupid-album-name bullshit.   I hope the remaining songs tilt this album more towards the scales of pre-napster/pre-"Masscaraca"/pre-sellout days.

They're not my 2 favorite but right after Better and The Blues they are!!  I love I.R.S. and Riyadh, don't get the hate.

Track 2 .... YOU are the weakest link (leak, lol)... goodbye.

#546 Re: The Sunset Strip » The Ultimate Showdown #2...WINNER ANNOUNCED » 932 weeks ago

Winner by TKO .... "Diamond Dave"!!!  With a vote of 12-2 over Hagar, Roth proves that while good writing (the Hagar era) may have its virtues NOTHING is better than balls out, good time Rock N Roll like Classic Van Halen!

Backslash...don't worry, I will NEVER tell anyone that Gary Cherone was your vote here simply because you were biased as Extreme were your "metal" gods!      16

Thanks Lofton!
It is odd that they don't review any of the other leaks and VERY odd they find Riyadh to be similar to You Could Be Mine. Is it just me?  I don't see it.

#548 Re: Guns N' Roses » Are we at comparison time yet? BEST of VR vs. BEST of New GNR Lineup » 932 weeks ago

Every song by New GNR destroys any song by VR outside of Slither.  Just an opinion but a dead honest one.

Without question this is 100% true.  We all have our opinions and beliefs but it's guys like Flagg who are the reason we can have the luxury to do so in our comfortable enviroments.  Karma for Flagg...freedom is NOT free.

Track 2 all the way.  A few good parts don't always make a succesful whole.  This song is all over the place.  I still don't buy it's Prostitute.
