Fall to Shit and Shitter did much BETTER on radio.....that is the difference so far. Album sales are driven by singles...always have and always will. Unfortunately, I don't think Axl has a real good single that fits in today's radio. It is still fairly early, but I don't hold a lot of hopes for a huge comeback. It just seems like too personal of a record to catch on with the masses.

and who exactly is claiming to be an "insider"? Most of my speculation is based off Axl comments....some of it happens to jive with the Firecloud guy.....I SAID SPECULATION THREAD.:/

My post was aimed at Buzz for the record....I was just laughing at his assertion that no one is buying the record when it has sold close to 2,000,000 worldwide in 6 weeks. Gnr fans are so spoiled that they have completey lost touch with reality.....or they have major axes to grind like Buzz. Of course, it is not succesful by Gnr standards, but it is a success by record industry standards. The record company made all their money back with the Best Buy deal in the US, then sold about another 1,250,000 records outside the US...pretty much pure profit considering no promotion. Jimmy Iovine is a happy man and said so in one of his recent interviews-another good indication for future releases.
