The Top 10 most expensive festivals are;

Coachella
Tomorrowland (Belguim)
Glastonbury (England)
Rock AM Ring (Germany)
Main Square (France)
Sonar (Spain)
Roskilde (Denmark)
Sziget (Romania)
Open'er (Poland)
Exit (Serbia)

Some of these do not have rock bands, so are ruled out. One or two of these are possibilities, but festivals on the whole are looking unlikely

BST is still looking ok, because ticket prices are based on the band playing on the day

To maximise income, AEG will look to offer up their own venues. Here's a list of AEG stadiums http://www.aegworldwide.com/facilities/ … s/stadiums

I'll figure out the venue sizes and costs.

8 million per show? Even if 2016 is just a limited festival run they are going to make a killing.

So, the 8 million dollars they are getting for Coachella is also what they are looking for elsewhere. That is interesting.

It is also interesting that they were considering a Canadian concert in June. This could mean there may be more American dates after Coachella, and they could be big outdoor venue affairs with big ticket prices.

It could also price out Rock in Rio with their 1.5 million Euro offer and Reading

I wonder if they will play the whole of AFD in order, then they throw in other random tracks afterwards.

So here's the AEG/NCM Firstlook deal from 2014 http://www.broadwayworld.com/bwwmusic/a … n-20140821

So, in brief it says, blah blah, National CineMedia's FirstLook is an outstanding platform for AEG Live to promote ticket sales and other high-priority initiatives supported by our affiliated artists, blah blah,  AEG Live is also the largest producer of music festivals in North America from the critically acclaimed Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival to Stagecoach Country Music Festival and New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.

So basically, a direct link between the advert and Coachella

Another random update

The website below (see link) claims that GN'R are due to play Wacken Open Air in Germany and XI Resurrection Fest in Spain in 2016, and these two dates will be the only dates in both countries.

This info was part of the Spanish Fools Day 'Santos Inocentes', so disregard it smile

Onwards and upwards

Just a quick note about the official website.

It is only the front page and the menu system that have been deleted. All the content is still there, it just looks different

So, here's example news http://www.gunsnroses.com/news/106391

releases http://www.gunsnroses.com/releases/the_ … i_incident

photos http://www.gunsnroses.com/media/photos/25471

videos http://www.gunsnroses.com/media/videos/19832

and so on

By removing the menu system, it allows the band to update news without it being seen. When they are ready, I presume they will just put the menu system back.

Now, news at the start of November was this link -www.gunsnroses.com/news/262083-

News at the start of December was this link -www.gunsnroses.com/news/264153-

Note the numbers

So, more recent news could be 265??? to 267???. It could be something to look at if you are bored

So the Like a Mother Fucker is a reference to his old tatt? Am I missing something here?

This forum post references LAMF and it's origin http://www.velvetrevolverforum.com/foru … ic=18468.0

To quote

"(LAMF) stands for: Like A Mother Fucker.

It's the name of a album from one of Johnny Thunders and the Heartbreakers, one of Duff's idols.

Also "You Can't Put Your Arms Around A Memory" on the Spaghetti Incidentis covered by Duff from J. Thunders solo album.

And "So Fine" was written and dedicated to Johnny Thunders by Duff"

I have asked a couple of UK newspapers to look into this for us.

I hope you didn't ask any tabloids tongue.

Well, UK papers, bar the ones I contacted, have reported the GN'R logo and cinema stories, so I am keeping my fingers crossed on this. Still a Bank Holiday today, so maybe later tomorrow.
