Greatest Hits doesnt count. But why didnt you ever buy the others?

GH is an official album release though....I never bought it. However, I did buy SI and Live Era.....sold them because I really didn't like them much. Plus, a few years ago I saw the impending end to cd's and dumped hundreds of cd's while I had the chance to get something for them. Plus, I am pretty much a minimalist and my collection now only contains albums that I truly love.:peace:

I dunno either, but in the future you can be damn well sure the artists who are the big draw will be asking for a cut of the profits and not a one time up front payout.

If I'm in the mood to hear it, I generally start with If the World and will go through IRS, then skip Madagascar, and finish with This I love and Prostitute. I pretty much don't have a desire to hear CD, Shacklers, Better, SOD, or Maddy. Shackler's I just don't like and the other 4 are way played out for me.

wonder how much Slash is getting for this? The publishing money for WTTJ must be ridiculous as well. 13

come on....he knows the details.......we don't. A  movie with no budget knows how and why they got what they get. However, that doesn't mean Slash/Duff/Izzy/Adler weren't needed to sign off on it. Again, we don't know the details of their publishing relationship. And, again, your bias to Slash and the other guys is what I talked about in my prior post. You don't know what your talking about yet you tend to immediately side with an anti Axl stance. You just assume that because Mickey only gave a shout out to Axl that Mickey was some how wrong or misinformed. Too funny...

I wouldn't say it's our generations Imagine either as it doesn't hit on quite as many "themes" and issues. However, One is a drop dead classic. My fav lines

Have you come here for forgiveness?
Have you come to raise the dead?
Have you come here to play Jesus?
To the lepers in your head

Did I ask too much?
More than a lot.
You gave me nothing,
Now it's all I got
We're one
But we're not the same
See we
Hurt each other
Then we do it again

Well, I was hammered and almost got in a fight with their guitar player at a bar in Atlanta one night....couldn't tell you his name but when I sobered up the next day, I found out he was a guitar player in Collective Soul. 5 18
