I saw him sing at some baseball event (maybe the all-star game last year?) and he was absolutely horrible live.
We all have bad days. Generally he's on point live.

Bono wrote:I think given the vastness and enormity of the universe is well beyond our comprehension I'd say it's literally impossible for us to be alone in the universe.
I know I'll get flamed for this but I'm not even convinced man has been on the moon. Like seriously they got their shit together in the late 60's got up there, made a few trips and in the last 40 years nobody has been? Fuck that. AND the Russians just concieted and said we take the American's word for it that there's no reason to go. No way.
It blows my mind when you think of how technology has advanced in the last 40 years yet they arn't able to come up witha better method of space travel other than rocket fuel. Please. We didn't even have microwaves when man "landed on the moon" but in 2012 there's no advancement in the field that allows man to make a quick jaunt to the moon and the reason is "oh there's just no reason for us to go? Please. If man can't make the hop, skip and a jump to the moon by now we're never gonna see a man on Mars in our lifetime or the next.
I fully believe there's intelligent life out there and I bet they laugh at us
I've never looked much into the whole conspiracy theory on whether we actually went to the moon or not. But I've always had that nagging question in the back of my mind: "WHY have we never been back??"
Like you said, with all of the advancement since the 60s why wouldn't a jaunt back to the moon be easy as pie now? I would think we'd have a live webcam up there pointing toward Earth or whatever if nothing else.
Straight forward really.
America went to the moon to prevent Russia from claiming the high ground during the cold war.
If china sent a man to mars, even a missile in that general direction. There would be a manned Martian mission within 5 years.

Personally and I know there are a lot who will disagree... but.
I'd like to see Pat Monahan in VR
Decent Train song:
He's got the vocal chops and the mainstream sensibility.
The purists wouldn't be happy, but purists never are.

Thanks very much. @BLS if it was up to me it'd be gone. I'm doing it for a concept album thats meant to be Rock n Roll Vs Electronic Music. The point where that riff kicks in is where Rock n Roll wins.

The permission was give (contractually) "under duress". Activision cannot win here.

i think it speaks volumes that an attack on middle class suburban america gets not only it's own thread on here by comparison but an entire media furore & debate, but an attack aginst Sikh religion get's relegated to below Usain Bolt, the Mars rover or whatever other piddly-dick stories are doing the rounds.
i was actually gonna post the story on here before i went to bed last night, but i was interested to see the reaction for myself.
p disappointed tbh.
maybe it's just fatigue.....
maybe it's cause the gunman died & doesn't hold as much interest.
or maybe it's something else..it's not just you guys or the American media. it's all but disappeared from the press over here too.
just interesting what makes the news..
It's big news in Ireland if that makes you feel any better

the bird that dumped me when I was 23.
My god I hate when people refer to girls as birds.
Cute story and all... don't get me wrong. But bird? Jeeeeeezis.
On another note. I do hope that all works out for you. Sounds distressing.
