I've just check out Circus Maximus which I have not listened for a long time and there are some good parts there and It is logical to think that It can be Seven for the reason that the first minute and a half could be where he did some work just because It's like an introduction.
The thing is that if this confirms to be true, my expectations for The General are pretty low because he pointed out that Seven was his favourite of The General, Leave me Alone and Seven!
When I Talk about he is Marco Beltrami Who worked on this 3 songs + thyme
I see what you mean but that is just his opinion. Either he or Buckmaster also said Twat was not a memorable song so opinions vary.
If I was him though I would probably like the song I wrote a guitar part on best as well, i'm sure his bank would prefer that one over the other 3 lol

Yeah this is definitely the song I had from Limewire/Kazaa in 2002-03. Wacky to hear it again.
Even wackier is there's nothing that actually screams fake about it. Only way to do that is to find the source of the clip... almost impossible at this point.
Anyone remember that other song labeled as from Chinese Democracy with vocals but they weren't Axl....the assumption it might have been Tommy, Dizzy, or Finck?
No...it's not Anybody from Asphalt Ballet. It was something else.

But there is a jam called Circus Maximus which is where the chariot scene from Ben Hurr was shot. Again it's a assumption but seems logical to me that Circus Maximus = Se7en. Also remember Circus Maximus is labeled as (Version 1) and dates from 11/07/00 which predates the work that Marco beltrami did on it.

I think it's Seven too.
Having said that...there is an example of Seven in the Village Sessions leak....
Devious Bastard uses samples of the Freedom 7 mission.
Coincidence?!?
Maybe they added the samples to the other song later on?
Another thing regarding Circus Maximus=Seven..... we're skipping The Ides of March...which was a legit song title at some point.
In the Axl forum chats when he confirmed Ides Of March i believe there was a (98) next to it. Which puts it around the same age as Oklaholma. That cannot be Se7en as Brain was not in the band at that point, As he said in that clip above he was there when that was being written as a jam & was involved with it.
In theory it could be Devious Bastard but remember Beltrami worked on the song and wrote a guitar part for it. I can see how Circus Maximus could lend itself to orchestration but not Devious bastard at all. It's circumstantial but it seems most likely that Circus Maximus is indeed Se7en.

What instrumental are you guys referring to?!?
We were talking about a few, here is the Jam that was brought up

Happy Independence Day.
Good find, you had it backed up somewhere? That's not the one i thought was Thyme but I do remember this. Sounds like an early idea for a Brain type thing so who knows. Did anyone ever admit to faking it?

Also In This Grave is something that I have not listened in all this years and I think It has not been discussed anywhere, was this poster from mygnrforum or from other forum that has been deleted??
the thread I posted before links to a thread about in on Mygnr, but i will try to look for the original threads next week.
With regards to the soul lyric...Its true that many band have song names that are not mentioned in the lyrics but if you look at AFD for example I dont think there is a single song where the name of the track is not mentioned in the lyrics of its song at some point. With CD off the top of my head Shacklers doesn't and maybe one other song but in general words in the lyrics appear in the name of the song somewhere.
Now obviously it says "soul" and not "soulmonster" but i dont think its a huge stretch especially if the song in question wasn't called soulmonster yet but Evil presly and the monster of soul
Probably is from Soul Monster as you said, in the link there are some interesting quoteds and I found just like a jam that GNR did in 2006 of 3 minutes that people speculate about It was If The World but listening It to now It is not for sure and seems like a piano song we don't know yet!
lol By freak chance i was doing some work on remastering the piano moving jam a few weeks ago. great floyd vibe to it. Some people believe its Seven but it's not. The tempo is completely wrong

the response they get is usually "give us a source or it's bullshit"
years later we now know that most of the unreleased stuff didn't have vocals at all anyway. If someone had posted a clip of Devious Bastard in 2004, nobody would have believed them for a second that it was real.
This is a great observation.
It's a good example of how much damage fake insiders/leakers really do to a community. Hell...they did so much damage that the Razz leak of the Checkmate clip(Hard School) caused half the fan base to question its authenticity.
Instrumentals didn't have a chance.
Traders back then wouldn't even give you the time of day if what you had didn't have lyrics. Who knows what they turned there back on because of that rule

Holy shit...I remember this.
Not from 2006-07 but from the early 2000s on Limewire/Kazaa.
It was about 30-60 seconds.
There we go the fuckin frostwire days, i think you could be right actually. it was an early one
Remember we didn't know that brain was throwing old news reports or movie clip samples over things at the time. The first clue of that was Better Gone from the USB stick then the ITW remix, later on Devious Bastard, Quicksong ect. we didnt know that untill years later.
And that hindenburg clip fits in completely with the sort of thing he would use. Old and probably copyright free

I definitely remember that.
In defense of those saying it, this was the era of the fake insiders. They constantly popped up. Even banning them didn't slow down their spread.
Yeah...legit people probably became collateral damage during those years.
The fan base became so jaded as the years passed by that you were skeptical of everything.
years later we now know that most of the unreleased stuff didn't have vocals at all anyway. If someone had posted a clip of Devious Bastard in 2004, nobody would have believed them for a second that it was real.

Because I think there is real stuff in some of that people just didn't believe
I agree.
The fake album covers, liner notes, and track lists should've been archived as well... specifically the ones from 2002-05...when Axl had mentioned all that stuff was ready.
Is demolition the same guy who first posted about Blood In the Water on CD.com?
Thanks.. not too sure about the BITW guy i'll look into it though

The brief clip from 2006/2007 … was that an instrumental with a soundbyte of the Hindenburg reporter saying, “Oh, the humanity”?
I'm not too sure although that does ring a bell to be fair.
See this is what i mean though, we should have listed this stuff. I do remember that the clip i thought years later may have been Thyme was awful quality & sounded like it was ripped from a casette tape.
There was another that had sort of tribal sounding drums and an atmospheric sound, was that the Oh the humanity one? The audio sample you mention was taken from the crashing of the Hindenburg, it's the exact sort of sample Brain would have put on something in retrospect.
