I thought it was a lot better than the other 3.

They should have made it 10 years ago

Also, I wonder how this affects Steve Clark's family?

I wondered about that too. But I'm assuming there would've been an outcry if they got screwed. Or if they didn't know about it, then the outcry would come soon.

Naah they're close with the band still I hear I'm fairly sure for writing credits alone, they'd get some $$$ out of the whole thing. No-one really makes money for performences it's all about the names on the credits

Here's the liner notes for Hysteria in terms of credits:

All songs written by Steve Clark, Phil Collen, Joe Elliott, Mutt Lange and Rick Savage.

Funnily enough Clarke's family stand to make more cash than the rest of the band members from Hysteria tracks (which is where the lions share of the forgeries will come from) as he has the foremost writing credit. That's really great in a way.

He has a credit on every song on pyromania too and foremost credits on Photograph, Rock till You Drop, Foolin and Rock of Ages, which are of course the hits.

The Clarke family will be well looked after with these re-releases.

Thank fucking god this girl got out.

Anyone ever see this Jason Beghe interview after he got out?

If you haven't got the time for the 2 hour interview below take a look at this short one:

Here's the whole thing. It's fucking insane.

Here's a half hour one:

The Darkness are back. After announcing their long awaited reunion last year they've begun a low key release of some new music.
So far, new album "Hot Cakes" is sounding like a more relaxed version of their first "Permission to Land".

Judge for yourselves, here are three studio quality cuts from the album.

These first two videos are commenting on the recession, heralding the Darkness's return as a form of light relief. Which is not only funny, but true for some people, myself included. If Rock n Roll is my drug, the Darkness are crystal meth

There's a lyric in here that goes "I'm in a band with my brother and my 2 best mates" That just sums up the Darkness perfectly.

I thought Tate's daughters husband was on guitar in Queens still?

Ahh it's his step daughter. The young guy, Lundgren was married to Tates step daughter they're now divorced.

Why u think axl cant sing alot of these live? He disqualifies any discussion when comparing post gnr careers cause he even copy n paste the guitar solos together qhich disqualifies any of them from being better than slash's imo

Music Technicians have been around since the 40s bro.

Pink fucking Floyd copy pasted solos LITERALLY. Led Zeppelin over dubbed and used synths. Music Tech is very rock n roll.

On the topic of IMAX: watch out for LieMAX. It's a bunch of screens that are branded IMAX but don't actually have the capability of showing real IMAX footage in its native form. They are essentially just a bigger version of your regular theater. There are only around 80 real IMAX screens in North America that will be showing TDKR. The other 300 or so will be LieMAX screens. They charge the same price for a dramatically smaller screen than real IMAX and they have digital projectors that cannot even handle running film IMAX content. Here is an image that illustrates the size difference between real IMAX and LieMAX:

Holy shit.

I get it now. Extremely high resolution.

GNR-Evo Axl vs Slash Post

Ingredients:

2 -     Large cups of Opinion
500g- Personal Grudges
4 -     Fried Altercations
18g    Irrational Hatred

Allow simmer for 2 to 3 pages

Coat 4th page in a thick Fanboy Rant-Batter. Be sure to garnish any reasonable argument with an extra dose of irrational hatred.

Lock the thread.

Hey can we avoid that behaviour this time?

Can we have a bit of balance maybe?
Anyone ever actually read the Mantra here? It's beautifully crafted, but often ignored.

I have a dream, Axl and Slashites together at the table of brotherhood.

Could we state our favorite artist, Axl or Slash at the start of a comment maybe? Then leave that to one side, allow Axl and Slash to speak for and defend themselves while we take an objective look at the music?

I'll go first .

I generally prefer Axls post guns output, though I genuinely love Snakepit 2.

I think the nu-gnr version of paradise is made a lot better by having so many guitarists and so many keys parts. It just makes it more lush, more poppy, like it sounds on the album.
I find slash's version a bit sparse in comparison. Axls is more theatrical Slash's is more subdued.

I still wish Slash was in guns.
It's great to hear him play his own guitar lines. He's the best person to play paradise city, better than the guns guys. But, his band haven't got what it takes. I also prefer to hear Axl sing his parts over Myles.

Also anyone hearing Franks drumming on PC ? Is it just me or is that guy amazingly good?
And Axls delivery is sweet, the swagger is there again. His voice just bobs along. He doesn't even showcase, he just gets in the groove and delivers.
