Is hos Belgium? Do mean like jars of fish on bread? Or white fish like cod?
There’s loads of Hefe imported. I put lemon juice in it. I’m not really sure what food goes well with wheat beer. Pretzels.

Its Belgium.  I drink Witbier with all fish; cod, salmon, shellfish, pussy, etc.  Supposedly it pairs best with shellfish, and you should go with a light lager for other fish, but I don't like the aftertaste I get when I drink light lagers with fish.

Haven't tried a hefe yet, any recommendations?

Paulaner is the obvious German brand of Hefe-Weizen. But I don’t pick that one, I always get Valentins, it might be a random microbrewery. Valentins is just cheaper and I got a couple of glasses once, so I stay loyal.

Wasn’t he in Tarantino’s last movie?

Pacino wasn’t a great Hoffa but he did capture the hubris so I forgot. Same with DeNiro not really looking like Sheeran. It fits really well with Goidfellas, Casino.

Nirvana blew up sort of just because Kurt liked The Beatles. That wasn’t really a cool thing in 90. But About A Girl in Bleach is way more commercial and catchy than most stuff on Sub Pop. So when the idea for Nevermind was Sabbath meets Beatles that really puts something on the cards. Every other band had a less commercial element. Either too metal or punk. Mudhoney didn’t even sign to a major label, but they still had overtly rude lyrics. I remember hearing Lithium in an amusement park. There’s no cursing or caustic lyrics, it’s like a nursery rhyme. The arty lyrics make you feel like you are in on something but they are also less offensive than Touch me I’m Sick. And Nirvana was kind of uplifting, whereas Soundgarden and Alice are sort of depressing and serious. There was a cute dorky Ramones thing to Nirvana especially on Nevermind. I think there’s a heavy pop element to Guns and Nirvana and Faith No More.

#58 Re: Guns N' Roses » Will new music be released in 2020? » 286 weeks ago

Maybe it depends if they can agree on what to release,  if it’s good enough and how?

I think that has to do with Slash wanting to do Axl’s material but also pulling it off.

Maybe they don’t want to fight so they won’t push too hard in any direction.

Hopefully though they got it and a record is done and out before 2025.

Axl always seems ahead of the curve. And maybe they had a record in 96. Izzy has always said they could do a GNR record in 2 weeks...

Carl’s Jr. breakfast was great but they stopped doing locally. But the double chili cheese fries are a good breakfast. Double Super Star with Cheese is great after not going to the gym. Free flow soda is also a bonus.
